The room was clean and well furnished. Smell was good inside the room. The door was secure and made to feel safe. There was a piano in the lobby, hope that they’ll find someone to play it in the evenings. Window views were nice. Food quality was good at restaurants, especially chicken soup.

Absolutely amazing place with the best views across the island. There's so much history to see and experience and loads of choice for food. Definitely wander out of the main gate and over to Crystal Palace for the best Pastizzi, and Fontanella's on the city wall is a must.

Mdina is nice for a few hours but there’s not a lot to do if you have done all the museums, cathedrals and archaeological sites in other parts of Malta and Gozo as we had done. It’s very historical with lovely glassware and silver jewellery in the quaint little shops. It was a nice place to chill out after a hectic few days elsewhere on Malta.

For example sparkling water and they bring a large bottle and then bring the arrival admin to you rather than doing it at reception desk. Duplex suite we had was generous - 85sq m rather than 55 sqm quoted which was just the lounge element , bedroom and bathroom above as rooms 5m? high. Service and attitude from staff excellent.

Loved the uniqueness of the layout and in the height of summer the pool area was an excellent facility to be able to enjoy. It felt like we were living in a part of Mdina's history. As a base for visiting Malta, Mdina is ideally placed, with taxis and local buses easy to pick up from the main gate. Peter and his staff couldn't be more helpful throughout the duration of our stay.
