Carla was very nice, she provided everything for our baby (bed and high chair). Apartment was very clean, and full equipped as described.
The communication with the owner was fast and smooth since few days prior to our arrival.

If you want a quieter vacation without lots of people then Luz is great. There were sufficient places to eat good selection and service with a great view. It was an elegant location. We found a restaurant just out of town that was great value and excellent service.

Luz is a lovely old town on the coast now mostly given over to villas and holiday rentals. Nice coastal walks to Lagos.
We didn't love the restaurants, catering too much for the British I would think. Football showing everywhere.

We like the views along from the pagoda along the promenade and the beach and the variety of cafes and restaurants. Both the supermarkets are good and the bus service is reliable for getting both East and West along the coast.
New to us restaurant Urban had excellent food at great prices and friendly staff.

Luz is a very beautiful beach town with really great amenities. The views of the beach and cliffs are really beautiful. The promenade along the seafront is a marble cobblestone walkway with cafes and restaurants. Small market stalls for trinkets. The restaurants in Luz are top quality and my favourites are ZaZu and Latitude. During high season it is good to book.
There are 2 lots of beach concessions with sun beds and umbrellas. We were always on the beach by 9.30 but beds were Normally all taken by 10am.
Luz is a very family resort and very popular.
I wouldn’t recommend Luz to anyone with mobility issues as it is quite hilly.
Absolutely loved our stay in Luz at Quinta Paraiso da Mia. The whole complex was very beautiful and well taken care of, with a nice garden as well as a pool the guests could enjoy.
The owner was very attentive to all our needs, and was very helpful in providing directions around town and telling us where to go for certain things like a laundromat or the post office.
Loved the pool - would be chilly outside the summer, but perfect for August. Comfortable beds, almost all the essentials we needed, towels replaced part way (unexpectedly!), fast WiFi, all very clean. Made a great base to explore Praia da Luz, Lagos and the western Algarve too. Despite the problems listed below, we had a very good stay.
Wonderful location, loved the pools and gardens and overall layout. We had a large suite which was very comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. We had two bathroom which was quite a luxury. Really liked the breakfasts and the reception area. Really nice place to hang out.
Loved the pool and the view and the town. It was a bit above the town so requires a boot walk up and down the hill to get to the beach and restaurants, which was fine with us but may not be optimum for people who want to be right in the action. We adored the town of Luz!
immaculately clean & awesome apartments & facilities/amenities . staff very friendly & courteous . location was amazing & 4mins walk to beach/restaurants & short drive to supermarket & other beaches . bday fruit basket & food package was fantastic !
Great hotel, breakfast choices are great, you can also ask for fried/soft boiled eggs. Pool bar food also brilliant... HIGHLY recommend the sangria it's beautiful. Extremely comfy beds, best sleep I've had in a long time.... No complaints from me.
A lovely relaxing holiday, from the pool area you could see the well manicured gardens. If you need anything to eat or drink while sunbathing you could simply ring the hotel and the would bring it down to you. The breakfast was delicious.
A beautiful place to spend your vacations in Portugal. Super clean and really good for families. The host is super friendly and attentive and react to request super quickly. Can’t wait to stay here on my next visit to Luz
Wonderful holiday village, newly renovated, in a beautiful botanical garden at the amazing coastline between Luz en Burgao. Just paradise. Best breakfast ever! We were in low season, village was very relaxed!
Had some good days in Luz. The breakfast in my opinion is amazing. Nice view to the pool and the ocean.
The hotel is about 15min on foot away from the center of Luz. Nearby the hotel you can find the cliffs :)
The owners were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was top-notch and included a homemade healthy breakfast "shot" and a daily surprise. The setting is quite pretty and close to both Luz and Lagos.
We liked the location and everything about our stay great restaurant's and good food very friendly people and very good value for money will sure be back as our daughter is living in Portugal now .
Nice swimming pool area, the rooms are small bungalows with a little terrace. A/C in the room, towels and basic body wash supplied.
Pretty close to the beach area of Luz (15 - 20min)
Location right on the water and steps from the main areas of Luz was amazing. The house was extremely clean. Sitting in the extra large hot tub overlooking the ocean couldn't be beat!
Was our best stay in Portugal! I highly recommend this place!
We will come back :)
- Super good breakfast
- Super friendly hosts
- Nice pool
- Great rooms
- Comfortable bed
View from the balcony was the best. Plenty of space in the house itself. It was very clean. Great location near plenty of restaurants and a couple of grocery stores.
