Tranquil location with nice grounds and twittering birds! Stayed in studio which was large and had everything I needed. It was great for my dog who had a chill out break from 3 days travelling from uk.
The couple who own it were welcoming and helpful. It would have been nice to stay longer especially as the weather turned hot and they were preparing to open the pool.

The room was spacious and clean - bathroom was great - again, spacious and the shower was nice and strong. Bed large and very comfortable. The restaurant next door offered delicious local food for dinner. Big and varied choices for breakfast. Area was scenic and un-touristy. The nearby historic village of Sortelha is gorgeous and worth a visit.
