The staff were great and were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good too but only being offered 7:30am or 10am for breakfast was a bit rubbish and very restrictive. I have nothing else to add here I'm afraid but I would like to give a 10/10 review for the staff as much as everything else was sadly disappointing.

Property is an old Victorian building and decor reflects this it is not a modern hotel. Our room was quirky, carpet a little tired, bed comfy, bathroom modern and clean although shaver point didn’t work. Evening meals were excellent, buffet breakfast could be better. Would stay again.

Amazing boutique hotel with lots of character. Very tastefully refurbished. The food was amazing , both the dinner and the breakfast. I 100 % recommend to visit this hotel . We stayed there on our way to the Scottish Highlands and it was perfect

The location was ideal, being close to the town and set in a quiet location with lovely views. We were made to feel welcome & any requests were dealt with. Unfortunately, while there was a coach party there, the breakfast was limited but still reasonable, but it did improve when they left. A nice lounge area.
