The rooms are beautifully decorated, someone really had an eye for this sort of thing! The bathroom in particular was gorgeous. I really enjoyed the separate door for accommodation as well that worked fantastically for coming back after-hours. Breakfast was beyond ten out of ten, a wonderful spread and the cooked options were superb. I would happily come back.

The location is absolutely stunning, Tracy and David have a beautiful home and really were welcoming! The bed was really comfy and wonderful pillows! Fresh milk and orange juice in a glass bottle in the fridge, with a fresh loaf and croissants ready for the morning. Along with pots of jam and butter. Also making friends with their dog! The building is lovely with lots of character, the room (standard) was large and comfortable, the staff were all really lovely and the fixed evening menu was reasonably priced and the food very nice.
It was a good base to drive to Sandbanks and Durdle door.
Staff are lovely and very welcoming.
Great Italian restaurants nearby, we had dinner at one of them and the chicken in cream and mushroom sauce was divine.
We only had breakfast in the hotel a couple of times as we were room only.
Visit the minster and visit the library up the winding stairs if open. History there is incredible.

Quintessential English town with charming understated architecture and pleasant atmosphere. Good pubs/restaurants. The Minster is lovely to visit and worth the climb up the spiral stone staircase to see and hear about the chained library (one of only 5 left) but check opening times for the library. The Priests museum is also worth a visit and lovely garden for tea. Also, handy in reach of NT’s Kingston Lacey which is well worth 2-3 hours.

It was nice to arrive to have tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits available plus a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. All necessary cleaning products too. Also, there were towels and toiletries in the bathrooms.
It was on a nice quiet site only 5 minutes drive into Wimborne Minster, approx 30 minutes walk, although along grass verge for some of it. Lots of lovely eateries in Wimborne and a short walk along the river.
We had a lovely stay and would stay again.
The cottage is characterful and welcoming, the lounge and kitchen diner have lots of lovely features, such as record player, incredible fireplace, warming aga. Lovely little courtyard garden to enjoy a morning coffee, or park our bikes in as we did. Rooms very comfortable. Great location in Wimborne, just a few minutes walk to the many eateries and shops. All in all, we loved the cottage and felt very welcomed by the hosts. Highly recommend.
Breakfast comprises a wide variety of choice depending on your appetite. Also had a couple of meals with family there, again there was no shortage of choice. The room was excellent with views of The Square. The bar had a pleasent friendly atmosphere. The hotel staff were all exemplar from reception through to the cleaning and bar / restaraunt. A very well run hotel.
Great little hotel in a great little town, Well done to Hannah ( I hope your management team appreciate all your hard work ) and team for all there hard work and great aservice, good food, great selection at breakfast, rooms were comfy and clean, great nights sleep, If I was ever back down that way again I would stay again.
The whole experience was first class. The owner met me and assisted with luggage. She was helpful. The room was very well situated and furnished. All the things you needed were there not like a lot of hotels and b and bs who have cut down on what used to be expected. Lovely area walkable to centre. Parking.
The kings head hotel, was situated perfectly for our new year's Eve weekend stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, a little dated but clean. We enjoyed the breakfast, perhaps could have had a bit more selection with the continental.
Wimborne is a great place to visit.
Spotless, spacious and well equipped studio with everything well-considered and thought of by the host, even as far as placing a cone at the slightly concealed entrance to the drive, so it is easy to spot. Good communication prior to our stay and excellent location in a quiet, rural area outside Wimborne
This a newly opened B&B . Absolutely spotless tremendous decor . Good breakfast .
Note it is in a relatively remote spot but well placed to drive over a wide area of Dorset . 5 miles away from Wimborne .
The caring and friendly hosts. a Place of welcome .
This is a cosy, comfortable place with great walks in the woodlands and bus connections to Bournemouth and Poole. 15 minute walk into Wimborne. Great hosts, always friendly and helpful whenever I stay here.
Absolutely loved the room! Our second stay here, different room to first time and just as good.
Very clean, very comfortable and full of character
Lovely view of Wimborne Minster
Great breakfast too
Great communication from the hotel. Very central location. Felt very safe as a solo, female traveler. The room with spacious warm, and a little details that really made a difference.
The Loft House has character and is beautifully equipped. The welcome pack was really nice. The location is quiet and secluded, but with in easy reach of Dorset's attractions.
Contact from the hotel was good and pleasant. Had a late check in, which was handled well. Bed was comfortable, good shower. Breakfast hamper was impressive!
Very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Great decor and quality furnishings. Good cooked breakfast . Value for money. Good location for walking into Wimborne.
