This place is extremely clean and neat. The interior design is so good and there are many corner to corner where you can stay and relax. The dining iroom is so good. You can just sit there having a coffee.
Don't miss the free sauna downstairs. It's really well made. I strongly recommend this place. The location is great too!

Clean, comfortable room with a beautiful and unique view of the fjord! The room was very cosy. We stayed here 3 days due to bad weather which prevented us from leaving (our booking was for one night only) and Maggy was lovely with us!!! Every day she came by to ask if we needed anything and provided us with coffee and chocolate. She kept us updated on the road situation and gave us advice on where to eat and what to do. I highly recommend everyone to stay are here!!! Thanks again Maggy!!!

This guesthouse is in a great location within this small but beautiful town, a short walk to everything you need (bars, restaurants, grocery shopping, etc). The room was a generous size, clean, with comfortable beds. The kitchen amenities were generous with plenty of space for cooking & storing our groceries. We definitely recommend this guesthouse.

This town is a bit over rated in my opinion.
This town is a bit over rated in my opinion. There is almost nothing there. The setting is nice, but we stayed in a town called Siglufjordur up north is much prettier and had a lot more to offer, so I would skip this one and head up there.

This is a great place to stay for a couple of days.
This is a great place to stay for a couple of days. The town is small but charming, and there a multiple day hikes close by. If you are doing the ring road, this might be a nice spot for two nights to rest up a bit. You might catch a glimpse of the Faroe Islands/Denmark Ferry that comes in once a week. Breakfast options are limited, however there is a little bakery in the supermarket that has wonderful fresh baked bread and goods.

This is a pleasant town in a strikingly beautiful location between mountains and a fjord. Apart from the surrounding beauty, the town is tranquil (out of season) and very walkable. We understand that things heat up during the summer season. There are a handful of restaurants and a well-stocked supermarket. During working hours the town suffers from strong fishy odors coming from the local fish processing factory. In short, it is a must-see stop on any tour of Iceland.zevCanada - 10Scored 10

Seydisfjordur was a picture perfect village. We ate at two of the restaurants and the food was delicious. We enjoyed a local hike. And being fans of "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" we enjoyed seeing the filming locations in this town.SuzanneUnited States

These are the apartments that she grew up in with her family and grandparents so they are very dear to her. It was wonderful to be able to spread out after many nights in hotels. We were able to make dinner and do laundry. The bathroom and kitchen are nicely renovated. The beds were so comfy. I felt like I was staying at a friend's apartment. The stunning lake and mountain views are truly exceptional, and it's also conveniently close to the famous little church. I even had the privilege of witnessing the Northern Lights while enjoying a beer on the balcony at night. I believe everyone should definitely not miss this place. By the way, The apartment host is super friendly.

The bank was an old building so the floor creaks and you can hear the neighbors, but i quite liked this type of lodging. It is different from your traditional hotels, but adds a little something to the trip. You check in at the restaurant next to the rainbow road, and the people there were busy but very friendly.

Extra plus for the small fridge in our room. You park the car just outside the house. It is but a minute or two by foot to the restaurants and harbour in this small town. We got good instructions beforehand about the check-in etc.
