Great host, lovely small albergue with 12 beds. Well worth the 3 extra km from Zubiri. Dinner and breakfast fabulous. Great social evening with other pilgrims.
And then there was the pool, so welcome after a long day's walking. This is a fabulous place to stay, we'd love to come back. Pauline and Alice Northern Ireland.

A nice large bedroom and related shared areas. Bathroom although shared was very spacious. The host was brilliant and cooked my wife and I a meal as we arrived later than expected for a small fee of course but well received. Tea and coffee facilities provided.

Maria was so helpful and pleasant when we arrived a little early for check in. The downstairs lounge and kitchen area have everything you need. The garden outside was beautiful on a sunny afternoon after torrential downpours all morning. The girls the next day phoned us immediately on departure when they found items left in wardrobe and all got sorted before we even left village to begin our walk. Definitely stay here if you can. Best place in Zubiri.

The Welcome was so nice and the renovated 400 year old farmhouse is beautiful! An added treat is that we were able to have our Camino clothes washed AND dried, a real treat! The store next door has so many great things to snack on or make a lunch or dinner from. Txantxorena was one of my favorite places when I needed to be spoiled on the Camino! The room was really spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. They also had a kitchen and a gorgeous sitting area, although we didn’t need to make use of them. She invited pilgrims in for tea who had no place to stay in Zubiri and called taxis to take them into Pamplona. So very kind. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of hot water.
