Fresh fish of top quality and selection We rented a scooter that has proven to be a necessity. There are also electrical assisted bikes. Food prices at taverns in general are acceptable. I thought it would be quieter but it appears that Koufonisia has become more popular. We had to go to Kato Koufonisia almost everyday of our stay just to have a quiet and relaxing beach time. The hike was easy, a bit more tiring from the heat but it's worth it.

Beautiful island and sea is just amazing!i stayed 3 nights whilst travelling the Cyclades. I recommend 3-6 nights here unless you're not too bothered about shopping or a lively destination. This is perfect for a short stay if a solo traveller

Very small island. You can walk it. Furthest beach is 1 hour and a half scenic walk along the coast passing many other beaches. The port is the only town on the island. It has a nice ‘chora’ with surprisingly many restaurants and shops. Town is very clean with beautifully paved roads. Very much an upmarket feel to it, but no upmarket attitude, which is a plus. Quiet place. Not for party animals.

Bed comfortable - room has a fridge, kettle, cups and cutlery - and is kept spotlessly clean. In addition there is a lovely small balcony with seats and table - and a fantastic view. Also next to a bike rental place which can be practical to see the rest of the island. The room was pretty spacious and had a balcony with hanging strings so we were able to wash our clothes and swimsuits. The decorations were also cute. The beds were made and the towels were changed every day.
