This is our second time in the hotel and the island too. We got a free upgrade of the room which is very much appreciated. Hotel is beautiful, perfectly located, spotless clean, with great breakfast, very professional and accommodating staff, and very nice atmosphere overall. We hope to come back again next year. This has become our favorite travel and vacation destination.

Everything about the place was so warm and welcoming. The apartment was absolutely stunning, offering one of the most breathtaking views. The food was exceptional, especially the dinners. They offer a great variety, including vegan, fish, or meat meals. Additionally, they have a tennis court available for guests to use.

Rab town is bustling and busy and very touristy.
Rab town is bustling and busy and very touristy. There's loads of options for places to eat and drink and shop.
The island has beautiful beaches - and enough of them that we found a quiet one in May.
Rab town is a bit of a party town, which isn't my thing. If I had known that I don't think I would have stayed there.

Rob was a small historic town with loads of trekking trails around it, the scenery around the island was great, weather was really good although in April water is cold to swim. Off season many restaurants and cafes are still closed but we found some nice places to eat.

Rab as an island is great to explore but you do need a car and must be able / willing to walk (10 - 30 min) to the most beautiful beaches (or get there by boat).
The old town of Rab is absolutely charming. I don't say this often, but the the town's beach is great and has a really fun bar/bistro (Banova Villa).
Recommend:
- Podšilo bay beach (15 min walk)
- Gonar (bay and restaurant of the same name - great food and spectacular sunset)
- tapas bar Kampanel in old town Rab
Don't bother:
- Sahara beach (Podšilo is way nicer)

A small, but not too small island with great historical old town. The island has excellent sandy beaches, which are perfect for families with small children, but not only that, we also loved staying there.
The local people are really friendly in Rab, if yo can speak English or German languages, you can communicate almost everywhere.
The prices are reasonable, not too cheap but you can also find more affordable places a little further from the city center.
Marijana is a great host, she thinks of everything to make your stay pleasant.
The spacious apartment has everything we needed, with a panoramic view from the balcony and a lovely garden where you can park the car under the olive trees..
It is on walking distance 500m from the Plodine and via an old steep path you can reach Rab city in about 15-20 minutes. You can also walk from there to the Kamenjak 1h or along the coast to Suha Punta Kampor or Barbat.
We would like to come back.....
The accommodation has really kind hosts, which created lots of green outdoor space in the beautiful and well kept garden full of trees, outdoor kitchen (in addition to indoor one), swimming pool, kids playground,... Apartments are located centrally on the island, which gives option to explore different parts of island Rab every day. Great place to stay for family with little kids; what more is there to wish for?
A bit difficult to find the place (GPS dropped dead as we arrived to the island), the whole small-town is numbered as one big Banjol street. Other people helped with the directions, use the exact GP coordinate.
Slavica is a very kind and helpful owner, a typical lovely Croatian guest-setter (only good impressions in this genre anyway), and the higher balcony has a beautiful view to the see.
Spacious appartment, very clean and well equipped, the side balcony is just perfect for morning coffee / evening drink with a view of the sea. The landlady Marina spoiled us with homemade pancakes and homegrown tomatoes. A nice beach is literally a minute away on foot which is perfect for an early morning or evening swim but we recommend exploring Rab island further as it is beautiful.
Very good location, just a 10-15 minutes easy walk from the old town of Rab. From the private terrace there's a view to the port and the old town. On site parking is provided. You can ask for a breakfast which is served in the neighbour Hotel Padova. It costs 15 EUR, and worth every cents.
There's a small beach (with a beach bar: BEAT - THE BEAT BEACH CLUB) in front of the hotel.
I regret staying in this hotel, paying almost 800 eur for 2 days, having small place for the 4 of us (parents with 2 children) with a tiny terrace half underground and where bugs and geckos are getting in the room. Bathroom super small. Cheap evening shows - not for people with taste or culture. Swimming pools for little children. Everything looks better on the pictures.
It was a real pleasure to stay there
Karla, lovely and cordial owner, could not make our stay more comfortable
The apartment is spacious, clean and equipped with all the necessities
The location is perfect to see town Rab and explore the island
The city beach is reachable within 5min walk
Thank you so much, Karla, and our best wishes!
We have been in Croatia for 3 weeks and this was the absolute best place we’ve been to. The hosts were amazingly warm. Slavko greeted us with drinks and drove us to the bus stop the next day. He really went above and beyond. The terrace overlooking the harbor was a bonus but I would have given this a 10 even without the terrace.
The location was perfect, the apartman was really clean! We highly recommend it. Restaurants are nearby. We could park our car in the garden which was nice and the apartman had air conditioning. We could easily get to other nearby beaches and to the old town (Rab) by car.
Basically a half basement apartment but very well equipped and nice looking. Access is through narrow beach road (500 m) but apartment has everything you need. Swimming pool, restaurant next door and beach 5 m away. Access to city Rab is via boat taxi or 15 minute walk.
Clean apartment
Wifi signal strong (repeater in the room)
Yard available
Spatial partment! Plenty of space
Air condition (however, single unit for then whole apartment)
Good price/value ratio
Location, near Lopar
Free parking place
Host available in the next building
The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very tastefully and stylish decorated and pristine clean. The balcony is larger than expected.
The old town of Rab can be reached by foot. The hypermarket "Tommy" is on the walking distance (ca. 2 mins).
Vlasta was extremely nice and friendly. She gave us great advice on boat trips, restaurants and her general knowledge of the island is excellent.
Other guests were also polite and communication was great. We would recommend this host!
Friendly host. Nice room. Hearty breakfast served very quickly. Beautiful garden. Quiet and very close to the sea. Medieval city of Rab accessible via one-hour seaside walk, with beaches, bars and restaurants along the way.
- Located in the heart of the old Town, close to everything.
- View from the window is very good.
- Owner provides a parking card so you can park in town for free.
Everything else was fine, the host was very nice, left us the bowl with fruits and a cold beer in the fridge. The apartment is in the center of the old town
