The staff was very polite and friendly. It is close to some restaurants and public transport. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. There is a cozy lounge with a bar and some tables outside which allowed us to relax after a long day spent walking around the city. The windows do block a lot of the surrounding noise, the room was quiet, even with the air conditioning turned in. Honestly, everything was top tier, we are very satisfied.

The iconic spot of mine was Trevi Fountain, I visited it for like 6 times :)
I made a research about eating spots beforehand but all the places near Trevi were fantastic and beautiful!
Using subway helped to get around the city easily. But keep in mind that it closed at 9 PM due to some works. The buses seemed overcrowded and I could not take them.
Taking taxis because it is very expensive even for short distances.

I love Rome. I visited it at least 5 times since 1990. Unfortunately, Rome is not pleasant anymore. Too many people, big crowds, you have to wait to enter everywhere or buy expensive tickets in advance...it has become unbearable. You wait and wait and then you enter with too many people and you cannot enjoy any site. Even Pantheon you have to queue and go inside with crowds, not being able to see a thing. Such a lovely city, but ruined by people...

Rome is very easy to get around - most sights are within walking distance. Metro and buses are easy to navigate for longer distances. Pre-book activities, go to St. Peter's early (as in 7.30am) to miss the queues. Great food on just about every street corner and reasonably priced. Be vigilant with your belongings and you'll be fine.

Rome is a wonderful city with so much to offer.
Rome is a wonderful city with so much to offer. Unfortunately the crowds are so large that at times it felt that you were in a battle with other sighteers. Did not get to visit the Vatican due to very long queues. Whilst I loved all the great architecture &: churches, I very much doubt that I will be back
Residenza Maritti is a marvelous hotel. I have stayed here perhaps 20 times in the last 7 years or so, whilst living in Italy. It is quite simply one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. The location is nothing short of spectacular; the staff and owners very kind and helpful; the rooms full of character and history as well as being spotlessly clean; the rooftop terrace has breathtaking views of ancient Rome. When I come to Rome, I always stay at Residenza Maritti. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the Eternal City from.
I usually don’t put reviews on booing.com, but this apartment deserve an exception.
The apartment in very good location, where you feel like you’re living in the town, and everything is close. Also, the house has that Italian touch where it has a nice garden with a beautiful and wide living room and nice arts on the wall.
Finally, an advise to anyone going Rome, if you want to live the full Italy experience stay in this apartment as it was the best part in our holiday.
Big thanks for the friendly owner.
The location is excellent but unlike many 5 star hotels the staff were fantastic - not at all pretentious or pompous but extremely helpful, polite and very down to earth.
We are lucky to have experienced many 5 star hotels around the globe but this is one of the best with great facilities, lovely spa staff and an excellent location too!
The bar has an extraordinary manager who spoke super English and was extremely hospitable!
We regularly travel to Italy and we will definitely stay here again!
Beautiful spacious room, so nice to come back to the room after spending the day exploring the city. The bed is also very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us ideas what to do, transport to take etc. The breakfast was excellent! With staff clearing your plate and cutlery and giving you new ones after each helping.
Also the hotel is just minutes away from Rome Termini so it is easy to go take a bus or train to everywhere that you want to visit in Rome and Italy!
Location is awesome! Perfect for those travelling in Italy by train because of proximity to the Roma Termini station and relatively close to main attractions in Rome. Hop On/Hop off stop is right across the street from the hotel as well as the stop for the buses to 2 different airports (7 euros only!!). Last but not least - breakfast. I loved it and it is as good as everyone writes here. I will stay in this hotel next time i am in Rome. PS: The bed and pillows were really nice
The location could not be improved. Everything you could wish to see in Rome is within walking distance.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and neat. The hotel is quiet - remarkably so, given it’s central location.
The breakfast is nothing special, but that is normal in Italy. The coffee and pastries are good - because for an Italian that is what counts. If you want an egg white omelette with non gluten toast you really are in the wrong country.
Fantastic property managed by the most knowledgeable and genuinely helpful host. Luigi knows Rome and Italy in general. He helped us build our itinerary, made wonderful recommendations that optimized our time in Rome. The apartment is very comfortable, modern and safe. It is a few short minutes from the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and all the major attractions. We walked to the Vatican, Spanish steps and the Colosseum. There are many good restaurants and gelato shops nearby.
We thoroughly enjoyed this location, which straddles the neighborhoods of Monti and Esquilino. It was easily walkable to many sites as well as to public transportation, including Termini. The communication prior to arrival was excellent, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the coffee/tea station which also had little snacks available. I would absolutely recommend staying here, though the prices in Rome were a shock after being in Southern Italy.
It was our first time in the Rome and in Italy. We are happy to stay in this nice little hotel, and u know, guys, it was perfectly👍🏻
Elmer gave us special information for auto check-in, don’t worry about it you can find hotel very easy.Every day, sweet girl cleaned our room and added two coffees, it was so nice😊 Thank you for your honesty! Oh, and there is one thing, that’s really cool, you can pay for your room during your staying, it’s a really unique for Rome!🤌
A fantastic little gem of a hotel in the historic area of Rome. Wonderful staff, super clean and quiet rooms, and very helpful with arranging transportation during our stay.
Otivm Rooftop bar was our hangout every evening to watch the sunset over Rome and listen to the bells chime. Walkable to all major sites while visiting Rome. We would give them 20 stars if we could. By far the nicest hotel during our trip to Italy.
This hotel exceeded our expectations for Rome. We stayed in 12 hotels/farmstays over 4 weeks for our European trip (Holland, Italy, Paris) and this was one was the absolute best value. The bed was in the top 3, the room was very spacious for a major city hotel and the bathtub would have been amazing if it wasn't 36 degrees out. I was tempted to have an ice bath but I had no access to ice.
Flawless location right in the heart of Rome with all the main sites essentially equidistant from the hotel. The room was very quiet for being in such a lively area as well which was great. Very comfortable bed as well which was a great bonus since the other stays we had in Italy tended to have much firmer / uncomfortable beds.
This hotel is absolutely wonderful. It is close to Termini Station and an easy walk to many attractions. The staff here is great. They are the friendliest we have met here in Italy. The breakfast buffet cannot be beat. I plan on coming to Rome next year and will stay here again! This hotel is a true gem!
Amazing newly built/renovated Hotel, best I have ever been in Italy. Everything is just exceptional. Attentive and friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, large rooms for a boutique hotel in the very center of Rome. Everything super high quality, very tastfully equipped with high quality furniture...
Hotel Cellini embraces the charm of the old city of Rome to perfection. Laura from reception and the entire staff were wonderful. We ended our Italy adventure with a perfect room, a perfect location and with no stress. Thank you Hotel Cellini.
We were met at the apartment by the host who gave us all the details about the apartment as well as local restaurant and caffé recommendations. We appreciated this immensely because Rome was our first stop on our trip to Italy.
The breakfast was better than all hotels we stayed in Italy. I had fractured my ankle in Florence before arriving to Rome. I was wheelchair bound and The staff was so accommodating and friendly.
I didn’t like anything because they didn’t let us in .. and they send is to other hotel. And send us to third hotel is so far from the center my first day in italy is lost because of this hotel
Very good Location if you need a hotel close to where the buses go from to Rome Airport
Breakfast very good for Italy, the best of the three hotels we stayed at in Italy
Rome, Italy - it's love at first sight! Amazing hotel in the city center, great friendly staff who are ready to help at any moment. Delicious breakfasts!
