After reading the reviews on booking.com about the hotel, I was a little bit worried about booking this hotel, but since it ticked all the boxes (on the beach, balcony, breakfast included) and our trip was a short one (3 nights), I decided to book anyway. I am so glad that I did.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area right on the beach, surrounded by trees. Access to pool, and beach could not have been easier. Lovely pool area, many places to sit, enjoy a cup of espresso... Breakfast selection was wide (fruits, vegetables, cakes, croissants, cheese, freshly squeezed juice, coffee, bread...). Rooms and common areas are daily cleaned, beds made, everything was super clean which is very important to me. Beds were super comfortable, and balcony had a beautiful view of the see and the pool area. Staff was very kind and helpful in reception, private beach, bar and the restaurant. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay in Abamar hotel, and look forward to coming back.

Second honeymoon, we returned for the famous beach, and the tiramisu :-) Both lived up to our expectations, our memories! The rooms were all upgraded a year ago and look very nice. Kitesurfing is a secret plus for those who like active holidays! Thanks Ubaldo for taking such good care of us.

Lovely hotel in beautiful gardens facing the sea. Great infinity pool. Friendly staff - Ellen in particular on reception was amazing - she went above and beyond to help us with everything from ensuring our dietary requirements were met (vegetarian no eggs) to assisting with excursions and even where to store luggage in Cagliari - we had a late flight on our last day and wanted to spend the day there without having to come back to the hotel to collect our luggage.

The place blends sofistication and coziness.
Their breakfast is also excellent, with many options available on the buffet.
Cherry on the cake : As we went in May, the flowers from their gardens were all blossoming and their scent was all over the place. Never seen that before in a "3-star" hotel.
If I ever return to South Sardinia, I know I am staying there for at least two days to relax.

Breakfast was very good but some pastries/cakes had been left out for too long and showed decay, this was pointed out to the staff and they removed them.

The staff here were absolutely amazing, they were so friendly and helpful, and could not do enough for us. Jack at the bar made some fantastic cocktails, the host in the dining room (I'm sorry I don't know his name) was fab, and I want to give a special shout out to Roberto the lifeguard! The consummate professional and such a fun guy! The food was exceptional, a wonderful selection every day, and always at least two fresh made pasta options, this was definitely a highlight for us. The pool was really pretty and great for swimming - but more on that below. The beach was stunning and the wee beach bar (also run by Roberto) was absolutely charming. I would definitely recommend the beach lunches which are dropped off by the staff - that's a really nice touch. Finally, the wine taps in the restaurant are a nice authentic addition.

The staff at the restaurant bar that we just had lunch is fantastic and the snacks and drinks are great . The pools reasonably big and very clean . Private beach 🏖 that’s convenient. The rooms are clean and just newly renovated . The disappointment is they did not mention to us that their spa ,the sauna and indoor activity are closed . My boys are a little upset . early morning breakfast that is included in our stay, provided us with 1 kind of bread, 2 kinds of egg,3 kind of cheese, granola with yoghurt, bacon and fruits . No egg station.june 7: there was no running water for few hours . We got back from the beach and found out . Had to wait for a shower.June 8: cold shower , no hot water . Went for breakfast that’s included in our stay . There was not much food left . Only 3 server over worked and stressed and too many guests . I requested for 3 cup of capuccino but the waiter told me he cannot , to go over to the other person so i did . After 15 minutes I got 6 cup of cappuccino. 😂

Excellent location, near the most beautiful beaches in the area. The flat is quiet, spacious, very well equipped, and the bed is very comfortable. We did not use it much, but air conditioning is available. The property overlooks a big, wonderful garden with an outdoor shower and plenty of space to relax and eat.
The owner lives next door; he has been very friendly and helpful, yet discrete. He gave us beach towels and umbrellas, a tour of his garden, and plenty of tips on the best beaches and restaurants. We thoroughly recommend this place.
The best and most beautiful hotel EVER! Very friendly stuff, spatious room with a nice view, mini bar, AC, and cozy swimming pool, classy and delicious restaurant, VERY good breakfast. A couple of minutes away from from the breathtaking Chia, Tuerredda, Santa Margherita di Pula beaches. We were welcomed by Marco with a nice cocktail which was very much appreciated. The hotel has a big, free parking lot for the guests. We had a VERY pleasant stay and we will definitely come back!! Recommend it 100%!
We like it all!! The staff is very nice, kind and friendly, the food was great, delicious, we really loved it!! The resort is very big, you can walk by nature, relax and enjoy. The sea is calm, no big waves, very clean!! The room was big and fabulos! The resort was above our expectations, also we enjoyed the time spent on Thalaso spa, the six pools are very relaxing and a must do thing if you are there.
I definitely recommend it, is the best resort from Sardinia! We want to come back soon!!
The peacefulness of the place really lends itself to a restful stay. We had a great size room with balcony with a view to the sea. A good choice of accomodation choices within the hotel and the abundance of sun loungers means you do not need to reserve or pay extra for the privilege. Breakfast was adequate and The Grill for lunch was really fabulous with an amazing view. Nice pool with little action with everyone at the beach. Great position from which to sightsee Chia and Isola di San Pietro.
We loved eating outside on the terrace. All necessary comfort was available, clean place. Parking in front of the house. We chatted with Antonio, who handed over the keys. The playground was nice for the children, the swimming pool very cooling. The children were playing with other families, while the parents could rest and keep on an eye on them. Nice places (beaches, flamingos) to visit around, and some excellent restaurants too.
Location close to Ironman event and also direct access to the beach was great. Hotel provided storage and space for our bikes and offered an early breakfast on race day - all of which made things much easier so was very much appreciated. Rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job tidying around a lot of personal items. View of the sea and beach was amazing.
The hotel is super clean, has a very nice spread for breakfast, has an awesome jacuzzi, and ample parking. We even got a free room upgrade. But topping it all is the hospitality of each and every person who works at this hotel, being so friendly and helpful with anything you need, always going out of their way. And all this at a very affordable price.
Hotel Suite was spacious, cool and very comfortable. The food was spectacular, particularly at dinner. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed interacting with them. Both pools were beautiful and we enjoyed the private beach. We found the facilities to be more than able to accommodate all guests. We loved the resident cats!
The garden very well maintained, beautiful flowers and plants, the hotel furnishings and decorations are pretty, the pool is nice and relaxing. The personal was welcoming in a genuine way. Breakfast had a bit of everything, good quality.
This apartment was beautifully renovated in a quiet family holiday complex right on a stunning beach. There was plenty to do for the kids from the tennis courts, the playground, table tennis and lots of beach fun.
The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. It is a large area and made us feel really comfortable.
It is convenient to visit the beaches in the south of Cagliari. And the decorations inside the hotel are nice.
Loved the breakfast. Great and very spacious hotel with a lovely and kind staff.
Perfect for couples or families. Very relaxing and peaceful.
Really enjoyed the food on the restaurant as well.
The hotel is extremely luxurious, clean, and incredibly relaxing - exactly what we needed for our holiday. The staff is friendly and professional, and the premises are absolutely beautiful.
very modern, comfortable and large rooms. The staff was really nice, we got upgraded to a suite. Breakfast was by far the best we had in Sardinia with great selection and quality.
