Perfect location right by main beach, the rooms are perfectly designed and I loved the rooftop pool area. We stayed in the cheapest room (no view) but didn’t feel like we missed out too much, the design was perfect, bed really comfortable and rooftop view made up for no bedroom view. Would book to stay here again for sure.

When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing.
Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife.
Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works!
Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.

Yamba is lovely, beaches, fishing, golf, there is plenty to do . Be very careful where you stay , that is the key. The sands is great, be wary of the Cove, please note they are owned by the same organisation, I am just being honest.

I only stayed overnight on my way from QLD to VIC so didn't get to see much of the town. It seemed like a nice little seaside town though and would have loved to be able to stay longer to explore it.

Thank you.
Thank you. We stayed in the apartment and loved every minute. You have thought of all the little extras . Would have stayed longer but already booked. 100% we will be back. Very quick to respond, helpful and pleasant to deal with. ❤️
We slept in a family room that is in the end of the hall and it was very comfotable and quiet at night. We had two spacious bathrooms and we slept very well. However, the best is perhaps the location on the hill with the view of the ocean just in front of you with few different beaches around and dolphins swimming in the ocean. Also, free parking just in front of the hotel. Overall, great place and would definitely come back.
It was close to the bus stop and the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The installations were amazing and very clean. The beds were one of the most comfortable bed we’ve slept on this trip through the East Coast (we’ve had our fair share of soft mattresses), there was complimentary tea and coffee. Also, the AC was amazing.
We loved Yamba Central and would definitely come back on our next trip to Yamba.
Greeted by a smiling Sue on arrival and our apartment was ready. Very nice apartment, well equipped, and a massive bathroom with twin showers. Literally a three minute walk to shops, boutique brewery, restaurants etc, and directly across the road from the excellent Yamba Bowls Club. The apartment was very quiet, and we had a really relaxing and enjoyable few days. Highly recommend .
Very good location close to Yamba village and the Main Beach. Apartment very spacious with a massive balcony - in fact there were 3 balconies to sit on outside the Ocean Suite. The apartment had Netflix which was nice. I enjoyed the warm spa bath close to the apartment. The gardens were pretty. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and easy to get contact.
The facilities are great whether you’re a couple or family with young children, and best of all the staff really make this resort special - they’re so helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. As the resort is a little way from, it’s great for the peace and tranquility, but take advantage of the bicycles to get into Yamba.
We were unable to stay at Lighthouse Unit 2 in June 2022 due to being uninhabitable to to water damage from a leaking roof. We were told by property manager Yamba Iluka real estate it had been damaged in March and had not been able to get fixed due to bad weather and would take a significant time to dry out then be repaired.
Our business trip stay at the Mobydick Resort was truly exceptional. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment that offered the perfect blend of comfort and functionality, with spacious interior and high ceilings. The attentive staff further elevated our experience, making it a great choice for our work related travels.
Must be the best location in Yamba, overlooking the beach and ocean with the murmuring of the waves and quiring of sea nymphs to lull you to sleep at night. The room was stylish and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. Didn't get to try the restaurant, but heard good reports from local friends - next time!
Nicely presented, clean and quiet--nothing too fancy, just a nice place to stay when visiting Yamba or breaking up longer trip. It was just off the main road, however when in the rooms we weren't aware of roadnoise which was great.
A shout out to the very friendly and helpful staff!
Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Moby Dick.
We have a beautiful view of the river, and a little veranda to sit and watch the pelicans.
It was close to everything and was very quiet.
We would definitely come back to the Moby Dick next time we are in Yamba.
Clean and comfy but well over priced unfortunately in a $150 motor inn ya get a biscuit, in this $250 room the milk wasn’t even in the fridge m, very small room, no wardrobe of any sort. Unfortunately I can’t recommend it but we still enjoyed Yamba
Location is excellent, good views and close to the beach and central Yamba. Unit was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and offered us the manager's parking spaces as the parking is very tight and our spaces were hard to access.
Excellent location walking distance to centre of Yamba. Good walks along the river and out to the breakwater and surf beaches. Good access from ground floor unit to an excellent pool. Wonderful staff.
Best place we have ever stayed at in Yamba. Managers were very attentive, place was comfortable and very clean and
clean and well fitted out and so close, two minutes walk to town and all facilities.
as a solo traveler , i could not ask for a better place to stay- I’d recommend it for couples with no kids as well. It was super quiet but once outside the Cove, you are the stairs to the beach 🏝️
It was my first time staying in Yamba, I had family camping at Blue Dolphin - location was great, nice walk into the city centre, great facilities, will definitely come again!
Amazing in every detail, location and views, facilities and the general feel of the place was sensational. Without doubt the most premium property in Yamba
