We had a wonderful overall experience - the Pension is comfortable, tastefully decorated in a rustic style, with sustainability at heart. It blends in perfectly with the beautiful village of Pähl. The location was perfect for our purpose: visiting the Abbey and brewery in Andechs. The amenities of Hotel Bernhardof were a superb unexpected bonus. Underground spacious parking, what's not to like! The room was, without a doubt, the most well designed, artistic and creative space we stayed in during our 2 week journey. Dinner at the hotel was creative and delightful while breakfast was simple & delicious. We met and engaged with many staff members and all of them went overboard to be pleasant and helpful.

Very nice renovated hotel in 50s scandi style. Really lovely. The family room is great with small kids. The second room is small but fits a bed for two kids. The staff is very friendly and professional and can give good hints. Breakfast was great. Fresh and organic. The homemade organic ice is also fantastic. Dießen as a town is also nice. Restaurants are very close and good quality. The peer is very close to take the boat. Can recommend for staying some days.
