Wonderful experience and beautiful view.
Wonderful experience and beautiful view. We look the boat to the far end of Konigssee and hiked straight up for 2 hours to the waterfall. It was strenuous, but worth it. We stopped at Bartholomew on the way back, had a very good lunch at the restaurant and relaxed by the water before returning. The boats were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area. I definitely recommend taking the boat tour across the lake to both Salet and St. Bartholoma. The hikes at both were incredible! There are several shops and restaurants near the lake with a lot of options for food and souvenirs. There’s a lot of parking as you get close to the waterfront. I do recommend getting there early though as the lots do fill up. Bring some coins for the parking meter as well. Definitely recommend a trip here!AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

What a beautiful place to spend time! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, the people were nice, and my husband and I enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to visit again because there is so much more to experience!

Get there early. There's a lot of people here. You had to wait in line to climb the mountain but I'm not complaining cause it's spectacular there. I wish they had a common area trash can though cause I kept picking up discarded trash from other visitors.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

When planning to visit Königssee, there could not be a Moree lovely place to stay. The lady who runs the house couldn't have been more helpful. Everything is clean, tidy and neat. Breakfast - lovely.

Compared to other hotels and airbnbs, this one is quite cheap.In general the area is expensive though. In the house, there are several guests staying, even families. But I did not see or hear a lot from them, people were very quiet and we still felt like we had privacy. You also have the option to use a fridge there, which was really nice. Even though I'm allergic to dogs, I did not have any problems with allergies there.JoshuaGermany
