Sympathetically converted stone farmhouse with stunning architecture and beautifully presented. The bedrooms are generous and well equipped and the property is set in a fantastic rural location just a few kilometres from the town of Guarda. The host was also extremely generous and very welcoming and served a delicious breakfast with local produce from the farm. I stayed there whilst passing through the country and enjoyed my stay so much, I stayed again on my return leg.

The location was amazing, set in the heart of historical Guarda, it was close to great restaurants and bars (I strongly recommend Bago e Bago - an amazing little wine bar just down the road). Elena, the lady that runs it, was incredibly welcoming, and despite not knowing any English, managed to communicate all the necessary information for our stay. She was a highlight of the stay. The breakfast is generous and delicious. We only spent one night there, but were made to feel incredibly welcome, and will be back again.
The location of this hotel is great. The views from the restaurant are amazing. The food is delicious, we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. There was a lot of choice for breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were travelling by motorbike and whilst there was no attached parking we found a spot directly outside the hotel which was absolutely fine and safe. We would use this hotel again if in the area and would highly recommend it.
An elegant boutique hotel situated in a tranquil green setting. The rooms are tastefully designed and impeccably clean. The downstairs common area exudes a warm ambiance, complete with a fireplace - perfect for reading a book while enjoying a glass of wine. The host is exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Enjoy a delicious breakfast featuring locally sourced ingredients. We will come back for sure

Definitely stay here if you are exploring the Guarda area. Best place we have stayed in a long time.
The lady who greeted us, showed us to our room and was present at breakfast was delightful! Had it not been for the dreadful weather, I feel sure we would have felt even more positive. The restaurant recommended - just opposte the hotel ("Nobre") was our bext dinner of the whole week .
