Facing the Tagus River and built on seven hills, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It offers unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: the Belém's famous monuments; the Alfama's labyrinthine streets, bars and small shops; and the trendy Alcântara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are located in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in the Baixa.
Enjoy a walk in the greenery of Jardim Botânico, admire the architecture of the Jerónimos Monastery or explore Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese food. No meal is complete without some famous pastéis de nata!
Getting to the city centre is only a metro or bus ride from Lisbon Portela Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel, a friendly guesthouse or a cosy apartment, Booking.com has plenty of accommodations for your holiday in Lisbon.

I liked everything. The highlight of my trip was the boat trip on the Tagus which was beautiful.I also got a surprise view of the changing of the guards? in the Imperial Park opposite St Jeronimos.
Because I was a bit nervous I didn't have a great appetite but I had some lovely sardines in tomato sauce near the cathedral.
The metro is great so easyt to understand.I was lucky the 727 ran near my hotel to St Jeronimos.
The combined bus and boat trip(yellow) was great.I enjoyed the wine!

Beside the touristic attractions of the city and its beautiful architecture I would enfasise the wonderful food and reception portuguese people offer you. It's a very interesting city were you can see its population valuating its tradition and at the same time beeing absolutely inserted in a up to date contemporary life in a regular way with no extremes. I've got several favorite places and I will name two of them: The Botanical Garden and the "Jardim do Tojal". It's very easy to go and get around LIsbon.

A nice apartment.
A nice apartment. Close to our dentist and to where I love staying, in a less touristy area, an area with a somewhat higher class (Avenida Novas or Saldanha) I am very sensitive to hard beds, so they have a sofa with another upper mattress, that we moved to our main bed, and made the experience of a softer bed very nice. No key, only codes to access the main door and also for the apartment door, which we loved.

Lison is the capital city so you get what you get. Punters Row is where our hotel was. Just walk 5/ 10 mins away for other different restaurants.
Metro from airport to hotel E1.80 Taxi E25 no brainer. Save yellow metro ticket you can reload the ticket up to 4 times for daily use. for trams and buses. Also used for train to Cascise ( load fare onto ticket at station and get return) google says no return train ticket available but there is.
Best to do Guru free walking tour to get good info. Would not visit again as completed all on one visit.Tram 28 ride through old town. Best to get to start at 7 in the morning.,we did and it paid off. Long queues after 10 AM. Tram 15 to Belem starts at top of Rue De Prata not the square.

Lovely old city with narrow streets, lots of hills and great buildings/monasteries/statues. One of the oldest cities in the world, cobblestone decorated streets, lots of green space, wonderful restaurants and shops. Easy to get around with buses, Bolt/walking ( although many ups and downs)
Too many tourists as everyone is discovering travelling again. I am glad that we were there in April and not June.
I loved just walking the streets Avenue Liberdad (sp?) Hop on Hop off buses were good, people are friendly and kind.
Exceptional hospitality. They think of everything including ice in the freezer, coffee machine water filled, lovely toiletries. Fantastic breakfast and yogurt, cheese and h on the fridge for a snack. Bonus: the place is decorated beautifully and the scent of the hotel is AMAZING (so amazing, I had to look up the brand but sadly they don’t ship to the USA).
This is the best place I’ve ever stayed in all my travels abroad. They understand hospitality and I looked forward to returning each evening after a day out in Lisbon.
We stayed in the room with the small private garden. We really enjoyed our stay. The communal rooms look cozy and there is an kitchen (fully equipped Incl fridge etc) if you want to do your own cooking (we didn’t use it). It is not a hotel, so no reception. You receive login codes for the different entrances, works great. Best way to get here from the airport is with an Uber. (Airport to alfama just below 7 euros during our visit). It saves you walking up and down Lisbon’s famous steep cobble stones with your luggage.
The hotel is in a lovely and easily accessible location.
I absolutely loved my stay there; the breakfast was lovely and the room was so comfortable and clean at all times,.
I went to Lisbon with no concrete itinerary but the staff helped with recommendations, they have a special desk to help clients with suggestions and bookings so that made my stay very worthwhile.
All facilities are as stated online. Definitely worth the price for a 5 star hotel.
Great staff, I highly recommend.
Loved the location of this hotel. Could not beat how close it was to everything. Surrounded by some of the best restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful when you take the time to appreciate the fixtures, the old staircase, the wooden floors and the photographs placed around the building. The beds were comfortable, the view was great and we had AC that worked very well. It was hot in Lisbon.
This is a very cozy hotel with very clean rooms, wonderful breakfast, and centered well in Lisbon. Many sites are within a walking distance.
The team is amazing and warm welcoming. Jaoao was of much assistance in providing information. Gabriel did great in assisting us in our needs. A great applause to wonderful Cluadia. Cluadia presence is well noticed between guests. She tries her best to make the stay of the guests a unique experience. Thank you all
Nice spacious rooms. Bit outside of the city centre, but with the metro very close this is a perfect location for a Lisbon city trip. Comfortable beds.
No sound from outside. Which surprised me, as it's a busy street and aircraft fly really low over the hotel.
Easy reachable from the airport. I used the metro, which in hindsight was not even the best solution. Metro takes about 40 minutes, where the bus would take only 15.
This is my 3rd stay at the Portugal Boutique Hotel. The last visit was in 2019. If I am lucky enough to come to Lisbon again, I will certainly stay here. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are delicious. The location is very central, and the #28 trolley runs behind the hotel. I met friends here and the hotel.booked a car and driver to take us back to the airport. The staff made everything easy.
Listen folks, it’s a cheap hotel in general but good standard. Too sterile vs the work paid 5 star hotel on same city but did the job very well for an extra night. Convenience stores near by. I did not have breakfast there so I cannot comment on the food. Location was good but uphill on Lisbon pavements with Willy bag on a rainy day not a great combination. Overall very pleased with product I got.
One of the best hotel stays ever! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming and completely fluent in English. The rooms and facilities were amazing and high tech. The rooftop patio and pool had the best views of Lisbon and were definitely appreciated for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. I would also recommend the optional breakfast. Great location, too -- easy to get everywhere.
Definitely can be called "room with a view." It sits on the highest hill in Lisbon and probably has the best hotel view in the city. Book one of the rooms with the mini balconies, #15,25 or 35 if you can. Best value for the money. Bathrooms are old school marble, quite decent. Sitting outside watching the sunset with music and a bottle of wine, what's not to love.
The best hotel, just stay there, clean, nice, good staff, I traveled a lot and this hotel is from now on on my list when I’ll return to Lisbon. Also good breakfast, milk no lactose, all the goodies to eat, sweets and the best ham, prosciutto. I’m glad location is excellent in the old historic part of the city.
The young lady who checked me in was lovely and friendly. The shower in the small bathroom was excellent and very modern. The breakfast was okay. The area around the hotel is a working class area with some good, cheap restaurants and has a more realistic feel to Lisbon than the City Centre.
Fantastic luxury hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. And the breakfast was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. The hotel is not in the center of Lisbon but there’s public transportation that’s very easy to use right nearby so this was not a big deal.
This is not a 5 star hotel it’s better. It’s an authentic pensao. The location was good, the room was comfy but the best was the sweet woman who came down the 3 flights of stairs to greet me and carry my suitcase up for me and when I left down for me.
Best location. Supercentral, metro is next to the hotel, airport is accessible via metro in 30-40 mins.
The building looks very pretty and the interior design is cool too. It was a pleasure to arrive here and to spend a short stay in Lisbon.
5 star service throughout and you’re treat like a VIP. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and can not fault the service of every single member we encountered. Hotel itself is beautiful with an amazing selection for breakfast.
This is the best place to stay while we were in Lisbon..Bruno really give us a great room with a great view from our room..
Definitely..this hotel will be our place when we come back to Lisbon
