The staff was exceptionally nice. The wine yards next to the cliff are gorgeous and so is the view from the outside pool. Breakfast is outstanding - the egg Benedict with salmon is a must try. There are 3 options for dinner on the property - the hotel bar, the restaurant and the pizzeria. I would highly recommend staying here, the atmosphere is just something else!

Everything was perfect. Nice and clean with everything you need. Maybe for longer stays you’ll feel the lack of a washing machine, but for our 5 nights stay we didn’t need it. The fact that there was coffee was just the cherry on top. The host was replying really fast to our messages. Fast as in instant.

Our hostess Sandra and her mother were very welcoming, and we very much appreciated the homemade biscuits and madeira wine and fruit when we arrived and the traditional cake to take home with us. The house itself was beautifully decorated, the bedrooms in particular with their very comfortable beds, and we loved all the extra cushions, cozy blankets for the sofa and the generous supply of towels in the bathroom.

I stayed here for a night and enjoyed it. I liked the old style and that it seemed organic. This was something different for me during my travel. I enjoyed sitting in the big open living room at night with the fireplace going. Guests are also allowed to use the kitchen and they also offered free vegetables. The lady working here that I met in the morning was very nice! The huge property is so beautiful with all kinds of plants and flowers and even animals.
