Stunning views, beautiful place to visit with so much history. The Retiro do Escova restaurant was brilliant, excellent food and great service. I didn't have a car so I depended on public transport which was economic and handy to go to visit other towns nearby.

If you are interested in history and things other than beaches, this area is surprisingly full of excellent places to visit, and virtually empty of the usual crowds.
