The room was very nice, the location is also very good and the hosts are super nice. We could even make owr own tea in the dining room any time we wanted. The view is gorgeous from the terrace and also from the dining room, so you can enjoy it even during dinner. Breakfasts and dinners were very good.

We've been to many 5-star hotels all around the world, and surprisingly received the best hospotality service in this Hotel during our 2 night stay. It's a hidden gem !!! The view is epic from infinity pool. The food is Michelin level perfect. They light up dome fire while you dine outdoors (evenings might be little chill) there are 2 roms with fire place & ready to be fired up upon your request. They even put hot water bags into your bed during evening turn-down service, who expects such thing in the middle of Haputale :) Definetely will come back

Haputale is a small, sleepy Sri Lankan town - as opposed to a tourist town - in a beautiful hill country setting. It is much quieter and much cheaper to stay in than the tourist hot-spots of Nuwara Eliya or Ella, with a range of locally-run guesthouses, rooms and restaurants. The sleepy train station connects it with Colombo, Kandy and Ella, buses pass through and tuk-tuks can take you to nearby waterfalls or the iconic Lipton's Seat from which the stroll down through tea fields is stunning. There are several Olives restaurants in Haputale - Viewpoint was our favourite both for food and a stunning view. If you want a party then avoid Haputale as you'd be bored.

The trip to Lipton's seat takes about 5 hours round trip but is amazing...much better experience than the tour book suggested. An absolute delight was the opportunity to have tea and excellent snacks while in c the clouds at the peak...for an amazingly low price.
Views from our balcony were spectacular and the food - both dinner and breakfast - was top notch

Haputale is no substitute for Ella it's an extra stop.
Haputale is no substitute for Ella it's an extra stop. Haputale has fabulous views right in town and from your lodge, but there is a draught of travellers hang out cafés, while in Ella, you got to hike for the views, the town is packed with cafés and restaurants that makes you want to stay longer. Lodges in Haputale doesn't seem to put people together for shared transport to Horton plains anymore. Almost nobody is going there. I got a very good deal on transport there, but bailed in the gate and went back, due to extortionate entrance fees that added up to $49 for 1 person! - for a 3h hike!!!! - Lipton seat is well worth it though. Go early in the day before the clouds are covering it. The ride up takes you through beautiful tea plantations as well.

It's a lovely and unique area for trekking and hiking. The weather is wonderful, it's a place where the weather changes 6 times a day. Beautiful.
Bambarakanda Falls, Diyaluma Falls, Upper Diyaluma, Haputale Mountain, Lipton's Seat, and Horton Plains are nearby places. Adhisham's Bungalow is another unique experience to see the wildlife in night.

Easy access to famous Adisham bungalow and numerous walking trails. Good base for excursions to Horton Plains, Lipton's Seat, and impressive waterfalls. Haputale station is on scenic railway line through Hill Country. Best to stay in a guesthouse in the surrounding countryside rather than in town centre.
This place was truly the best experience I lived in my 4 months in Sri Lanka.
Haputale is incredible and the camping site is placed in a strategic point which has an incredible view over the hill country. To reach it you have to walk for 15 minutes in a gorgeous tea plantation. And the food… super delicious.
Most importantly, the guys managing it are very friendly and were so nice to us.
Thank you Viraj, Thila and Hishan, we truly loved your camp!
We’ll definitely come back :)
Beautiful guesthouse with massive rooms, big bed, warm shower and cosy blankets. The host was very friendly and introduced us into his home with warmth. The breakfast was delicious and the view was amazing, even though it was a little cloudy whilst we were there. It would be even better on a sunny day. We will definitely return here again when we return to Haputale. Highly recommend staying here. Great value, definitely worth the money and more!
Its located in the city center. Only 2-3mins walk from Haputale Bus Station and around 5mins wal from Haputale Train Station. Friendly staff and host. They also have a restaurant. Nice room with clean bathroom. Hot water shower is also there. Super comfy beds. There is a balcony with great scenic views. You can catch the sunrise, sunset from lying on the bed. Very beautiful, stunning view from the balcony. Loved it.. ❤️
The location is wonderful for a traveller visiting Haputale. Only few meters from the Colombo-Badulla highway. We stayed two nights and we thought the value for money was impressive and much more than we expected.. Great room, yummy food and a view for the very reasonable amount we paid. Bonus, the early morning we went to Lipton Seat we had the best ever views you could have imagined.
The view is spectacular. The best view I've stayed at in haputale. Well located close to town, and adisham monastery. Staff is very helpful and friendly. they are quick to accommodate your requests . They give a big soft blanket to keep you warm at night.
We rented the room On the rooftop. Highly recommend this room. Sweeping views of the haputale gap.
Amazing woman in an amazing location. The entire take is “rustic living” in Sri Lanka: boiled water for the shower with natural herbs from the garden, home cooked food over an open fire, and the best sleep you’ll get in town. I’ve stayed in many Homestay across South Asia — nothing have compared to the quality and hospitality of this. Thanks so much Gesheila :)
Very quiet, clean, fantastic owners with good english, helpful. They pick from the train station. Very good homemade food. The owner has a tuktuk, and for very reasonable prices offers siteseeing, visiting tea factory, tea plantations and neighbourhood. If someone is looking for quiet, non touristic area, very romantic and green, best place to go.
Beautiful views, Spacious room, comfy bed!
Amazing & friendly staff. Extremely helpful and attentive.
We had both our dinners and breakfast here and it was definitely the best Sri Lankan food we have had so far.
Location is 20 min walk to town - which we liked a lot but could easily get a tuk tuk which would take less than 5 minutes.
It is located on the hilltop with beautiful views over the valley. Haputale itself is a magical town, one of the most beautiful ones in Sri Lanka. The host was great with arranging of trips around (Horton NP, Lipton Seat and Diyaluma Falls) that were tailored to our needs and very reasonably priced. We really appreciated it!
One of the best treatments received in Sri Lanka. Clean room, terrace with fantastic view. I had dinner twice and the food was good and not spicy. Mr.Naleef is a beautiful person, and he was invaluable to me in organizing the tours and for the complicated next stage. In Haputale the Villino is the best possible choice.
We loved our stay here - the views from the property were amazing and the rooms were comfortable and homely. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay. The dinner we had here was one of the best sri lankan meals of our trip. We would recommend this stay to anyone :)
The rooms were very clean and comfortable with an amazing view, and the staff was kind and friendly. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Haputale!!! 😍

A best place to stay while travelling haputale and bandarawela area. Nice view, delicious food, very friendly customer service made the trip more enjoyable. Thank you Vantage Hills❤️🙂
Friendly person in the reception. All the facilities were there. Hot water was available. Room was spacious. Best place to stay at Haputale since it is near to the main road.
We had a fantastic view, the food was excellent. A very nice swimming pool area with that lovely view. A remarkable place. Friendly staff. We fully recommend the hotel.
