Alkham is a quiet little village with only the pub, church and park. Perfect to get away when you need A break. The food is to die for! The drinks options are amazing and the staff now how to look after you. Dover and Folkestone are between 10-15 minutes away and easy access to everything. A very pretty Church - a very busy main road with very fast traffic & it was late in the day so we didn’t venture very far! A few walks were visible from the road but walking bouts required on the day of our visit.

The staff very friendly , nice atmosphere in the pub, warm and cosy , nice open fires . Would have preferred home made fries with our meal rather than frozen as the rest of the meal was a very good standard . Toast in the morning ok but again packet bread rather than fresh un cut loaf, let it down for the standard of the pub .PatrickFrance
