We had a fabulous day at Glenlyn from start to end. The loveliest welcome where we were able to check in early, got help with bags to the room and left the car for the day.
Fantastic location a short walk from the tube and close to high street and shops around the corner if you need anything.
The rooms were very clean. The beds really comfortable with good pillows and the shower was great.
A lovely cooked breakfast and choice to have cold food (cereal/yoghurt/cheese/pastries etc) in their gorgeous breakfast room with a lovely garden if you want some air.
We were so grateful to find a low cost, quality place with the loveliest staff. Wholly recommend.

There is a main street within a short walk if you need to get any supplies; there seems to be a pretty good variety of eateries too, although we did not visit any on this visit. Only drive to get there it’s at motorway M1 and M2 getting to places by public transport would leave you walking around to get to your destination. The hotels are in the welcome break stops which means you should be driving there the locality is not vibrant so your not going to see people about and plan your trip.

Nice comfortable beds with quality linen. The common areas are also fresh and welcoming. Excellent value. About a 20 minute leisurely stroll along the High Street to High Barnet Tube Station. The real secret about this place is the restaurant. I highly recommend booking. I shared the squid and the duck salad. Exquisite. Staff and service were absolute top quality. There was a lovely area of decking with table and chairs which we would have used had the weather been better. Inside, it is very comfortable with a good size bedroom and kitchen/sitting area. We find the area a perfect place to get into London - we walked to High Barnet underground station, around 20 minutes.
