The rooms are spacious, clean and relatively up to date. You have everything you need for coffee and tea as well as towels. No robes, slippers, conditioner or toothpaste (!) So worth to pack. The plug socket options are both 2 pin and 3 pins. Useful!
The breakfast is pretty good. Very busy from 09:30 so arrive early if you dont like to queue.
There’s options for cooked and continental. WiFi isn’t the greatest but is available. Main menu is good. Treacle tart excellent. I had a beef for the main which was well seasoned and very good mash to go with it. I mentioned in my booking it was a birthday celebration and was given a little box of chocolates and a handwritten card which was a lovely touch! Shower is decent, curtains blackout and quiet where we stayed in the 2nd floor. Reception team kind. Bar and restaurant team attentive enough. We had a nice stay and we would definitely return!
The Clarendon overlooks historic Blackheath and Greenwich Park as well as views of London and offers a village atmosphere just 15 minutes' from central London by train.

Well laid out, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere. Felt chic yet welcoming and is an unusual space. Liked the communal areas. Bedrooms are compact but well thought out and had everything we needed - be aware there is no tv if that is a dealbreaker for you. For us it was no problem.
Great sleep, comfortable bed and quiet. Ear plugs are provided for anyone who might be bothered by noise but weren’t needed by us.
Hotel felt safe. The staff were lovely. From arrival to departure they were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was great. Good choice of hot and cold food and great coffee. Didn’t feel rushed or too busy and enjoyed the view.
Area is easy to get to and next door to the cable cars, there are plenty of shops and places to eat without going too far. There is also a place to eat at the hotel and a bar which was reasonable.
Would definitely stay again.
