Cullen is a bustling village with cafes, mini-market, 3 pubs etc. The one nearest to the property is "The Royal Oak" which serves excellent meals all day. Try the Cullen Skink' many will know of it, just as many will not so for those, it is a haddock (I think) based soup with potatoes --- superb. In Cullen ,Linda's fish and chips are 11/10 and the Ice cream shop gets the same rating Outstanding sandy beaches and lovely walks long short or whatever you want to make of them and paddle boards in the harbour the list of amenities seems endless.

Cullen holds many happy childhood memories .

Cullen holds many happy childhood memories . Although there has been many changes in the town over the years. Cullen has a charm that will never fade. There are many walks and historical places of interest to visit in the town and along the coast . The new Denver Bistro coffee shop is lovely and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. There are a few nice individual shops.

Great beach and lovely golf course. Be careful to choose the correct accommodation for your needs and avoid being near the main road due to road noise. Would definitely recommend a trip and look forward to returning albeit In different accommodation.

Lovely town, a great base for exploring the coast and all it's delightful little harbours and beaches. Nice shops too! Rockpool cafe was great for coffee and we had excellent soup there for lunch one day. My other half had the Cullen Skink which was reportedly delicious! If considering the Seafield Arms hotel for bar food/dinner it would be best to book in advance, it seems very busy!

The hotel had a high standard of cleanliness and facilities. The staff were wonderful and knowledgeable , the staff had been well trained , especially the bar manageress and the receptionists who were wonderful The food was terrific. My wife’s Gluten and Dairy intolerance was brilliantly managed The venison on the menu was superb A good item was a bathroom single light that stayed on so the other person was not disturbed. My wife was at a conference at the hotel on the Saturday which the food was Taylor’s for everybody’s needs -

Excellent no frills accommodation at a very reasonable price in a convenient location. I was able to park on the street right outside the hotel. Microwave in room was an unexpected bonus. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent and everything was clean. I was worried that there might have been some noise from the bar downstairs (especially as it was a Friday night) but all I could hear was a low hum, which was no problem at all. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The courtesy of the staff.Originality of the decor. The Sth African chef produced excellent meals, dinner and breakfast. A fine Katsu Curry & a beautiful "fluffy" fish and chips. Vey difficult to beat. Courtesy and friendliness from the chef's wife in the dining area. A fine modest sized Scottish hotel that is out to please in an area where you have to go further afield to find similar quality. We had come from Nairn en-route south.

The location was just perfect, Cullen is a lovely village. The room was just right, very clean and everything we needed. The bathroom was huge! The breakfast was delicious, good ingredients and perfect poached eggs. Best part of our stay was Paula, the owner. She was so helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for her. Her son even phoned the local hotel, which was excellent, to book a table for us for dinner.

would highly recommend, the house was fantastically equipped for a group of our size. The beds were soo comfy, and the first time ever I have come across a travel cot with an additional mattress, little ones were all catered for so much and excellent for the dog too! Not to mention a fantastic welcome tray of goodies 😊Thanks again, hopefully we will return in a sumner month and get to explore Cullen and surround more x

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Cullen. This is a gorgeous seaside town, and an excellent base to exlore the surrounding area. The cottage was comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped and maintained. The beds were all super comfortable. We contacted the owners with a query,, they were quick and friendly in their reply.
