On the shores of Loch Ness and 10 minutes' drive from Inverness, the Clansman Hotel offers rooms with views across the water and free Wi-Fi in the public areas.
In a beautiful, tranquil location in picturesque Drumnadrochit, beside one of the most famous and romantic stretches of water in the world, this traditional Scottish hotel dates back to around 1740.

A great price for a nice room. Nearby food and market, and close to Loch Ness and Urqhart Castle- my wife and I recommend this budget-friendly place!

Beautiful location. The hut was beautifully decorated with a very cute Bear theme. It was luxurious and had everything we needed.

We arrived expecting a room but was given keys to a little house. It was fantastic and gave us the rustic Scottish feel we had been searching for.
The bed was the best bed I’d slept in all week and the breakfast was delicious!
The host at the property was wonderful and friendly and very informative of the local area too.

Stayed for one evening.
Stayed for one evening. Staff were rude, place was a glorified shed. Road up was hard work on motorbikes. Too far out of town. Grounds were unkept, Sheds were neglected.
Clunebeg too expensive for what it was.

Hotel is very tired and facilities poor. Hairs in bath as well as shampoo/conditioner. Staff were not really customer focused and not available once they had shown us our room, which did not meet expectation.

Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense.
Over priced. Relies on Monster nonsense. For a pretty part of the world it’s a bit scruffy. Very overpriced, Too popular, No bars so you’re ripped off in hotels for a simple drink.
Stay elsewhere if you have taste.
Arrived after another day walking the Great Glen Way. The garden was beautiful and I loved being able to sit outside to have my coffee and read my book.
Unfortunately, there was no restaurant open due to covid but our host was well prepared for this and provided us with our options for dinner. We went for take away and she kindly set up and cleared table for us to eat.
The triple room was beautiful and spacious. You’d think you were in a nice hotel. Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was amazing.
A very comfortable, quiet and clean hotel with excellent facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, despite being very busy nothing was too much trouble. The full Highland breakfast is definitely not to be missed and the evening meals were excellent and great value for money. Beware of ordering three courses at once, you may find yourself struggling with dessert as the portions are very generous!
If I return to Drumnadrochit, the Benleva will be my first choice.
Staff was very friendly. I happened to be the only customer for the night, and they kept the restaurant opened so I could eat. They also gave me a complimentary coffee upon leaving with a nice chit chat. I highly recommend this hotel, and even though I was the only customer there at the time (which was very unusual but to be expected at the end of October), i believe this is the place to be in High season in Drummnadrochit: they have their own bar, kitchen and live music!
Isabelle and Robert, our hosts at the B&B, were wonderful. They helped us on a couple of things during our stay including accommodating us for an additional night. The property was excellent and the breakfasts that were cooked to order were delicious. The B&B is well positioned in the center of Scotland near Loch Ness making for easy access to the countryside in all directions. My wife and I would highly recommend Woodlands B&B to anyone traveling to Scotland.
I absolutely loved almost everything about this wonderful hotel! The location is superb, the staff are all so friendly, from the people working in the café, the front of staff in the restaurant, all the other people working serving food, reception staff, cleaners, shop staff, and the artist in residence. They were all so helpful. The room was lovely, clean roomy and well equipped. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!
Sarah is a fantastic host, and this is a wonderful place to stay. We felt like we were at home with a living/dining room, full kitchen, patio, spacious bedrooms with separate bathrooms, and a washing machine! This has been a long trip for us so we badly needed clean clothes! The location is easily accessible to Loch Ness. There are also some good places to eat and a small grocery store nearby. We loved our stay here.
Angela our host was terrific. she even offered to drive myself and my wife into town for dinner at the great Fiddlers whisky restaurant and pick us up several hours later in the evening. Angela did everything she could to make our stay relaxing, fun and memorable. There was also a fantastic lounge with great views over Loch Ness which we used in the evening for drinks. We will definitely return for a long stay.
The location was stunning, so close to Loch Ness, it was so peaceful and the lodge was clean, had everything you would want for a self catering holiday, Inverness was close with all the restaurants and take and culture you would hope for, we spend a day at Ben Nevis and we’re blown away with the beauty of the landscape of Scotland. Thank you Simon for meeting us at such a late hour due to a 14 hour trip
Very friendly and accommodating host and hostess. It was like a summer vacation to your favorite cousin's farm. Homey and cozy. The included breakfast was amazingly delicious. Feeding the "Coos" after breakfast was an added bonus to our stay. The property is close to the town, where there are great restaurants and shops. Urquhart Castle just a short drive. Beautiful views of rolling hills and Loch Ness.
Stayed in a room at the bunk inn with our 3 kids, bunks with private bathroom, was all we needed for one night and had everything we needed in the shared kitchen and beautiful river for the kids to play outside while we had a cuppa. Great spot to visit loch ness and the service in the restaurant was fantastic, they catered for us and our kids so kindly.
Having spent a weekend here before we had no hesitation booking a room again. The menu for the restaurant offers great food and we were stuffed when we left the table. We required to leave for an activity early in the morning and were offered an 'early' full cooked breakfast to set us up for the day.
Great location on the outskirts of Drumnadrochit.
Really nice and cosy restaurant with lovely evening meal and atmosphere.
All staff were friendly and welcoming.
Great coffee at breakfast.
Nice courtyard to sit outside in and have a drink.
Easy to find and good parking.
This was an amazing place! We've been traveling in hostels and walking into our room was like walking into a spa hotel. The room was spotless, the shower was wonderful.
The restaurant was fabulous. I would love to come back to Scotland, just to stay here again
The location of Four Winds was perfect for us. It is situated in a lovely part of Drumnadrochit in a very quiet and peaceful road with a good view of the hills. Shops and restaurants are all very accessible within walking distance.
Hotel is in a nice and quiet location. Room was clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Bar is really nice. Easy to park outside. Nice restaurant is nearby (Fiddlers). (we haven't tried hotel's for dinner, but breakfast was OK)
Great accommodating host. Fantastic breakfast. Countryside location close to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Quaint courtyard and the best opportunity to find Nessie
Great views. Convenient location for Loch Ness boat tours (right next door, docking across the road). Big gift shop. Staff were great. Recently renovated.
