We upgraded to Bear Lodge which was totally amazing. Loved the fire, huge shower room and beds were comfortable.

Quiet little seaside town, not much to do on the beachfront when you compare it to other places like Brighton or Hastings, but if you are looking for a peaceful get away Hythe is lovely. Some nice pubs and restaurants aswell as lovely local shops. All the people we met were very polite and friendly.

The hotel and its comfort are the main attraction. There is a Waitrose and Sainsbury nearby and all the attractions are no more than 30 mins away so great as a base for Dungeness, Romney, Rye, Dover and Ramsgate.

You have the beach, a prom which is by the sea and runs to Folkestone. Then you have the canal for boating or a quiet sit in the shade, if you are energenic you can walk the whole canal . A bowling club, tennis courts, football , cricket and a lovely parade of shops what more could anybody want.

Hythe is a typical seaside venue. older persons asset rich cash poor pretty town . lovely architecture and church . shops from the 70s it would appeal to those wanting attractive walks and the Hythe and Dymchurch railway , the lighthouses etc . My 11 year old son and I enjoyed it very much for two days.
The room air-conditioner was broke so the room was extremely hot for 2 nights and nothing was done until the night before we left so we had no time to move room due to having plans and duty manager Julie explained this now was our fault, which is extremely upsetting to us with no help compensation or apology.
Some The leisure facilities were out of use but no mention of this before arriving to the hotel as apparently the leisure facilities arnt the hotel responsibility!!
(This should be clearly stated when advertising the hotel)
The breakfast was freshly prepared and all in all the accommodation represented good value for money. We particularly chose it because of the location in a village outside of Hythe, and therefore quieter, and because it was not far from the wedding venue of Port Lympne Hotel and Safari Park. Parking, although off-site, was problem free just outside and by the village green across from the inn. The owner was particularly welcoming.
The View of the channel from a very small window in the Box Room that was allocated to me. The bar staff in the main hotel bar were very polite and attentive prior to us going to Folkstone for a meal at Rock Salt, but when we returned the bar shut promptly at 11.00 When do a hotel bar shut at that time to residents? When do The Hythe Imperial become a pub!
This is our 3rd stay at the Hythe Imperial. Excellent clean and spacious room. Clean and tidy hotel. Had a great massage in the spa, and made use of the jacuzzi/sauna etc. Helpful service at the bar. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Looking forward to the next visit.
The staff was quick to respond when I arrived a little earlier than planned. The location is perfect for walks around Hythe; to the shops, cafes and the beautiful church as well as through the park to the beach. Parking is just around the corner (paid during the day).
Lovely chalet type accommodation within easy walking distance of Hythe centre and further down to the sea front. A comfortable stay with everything I needed to cook a meal. Very convenient parking at the front of the main property.
The hotel was as expected and suited the purpose of our stop over, the price was fair, the room comfortable and a good size for the family, the facilities were as expected and the location is perfect for a visit to Hythe.
Room was clean ,we were very happy with water supplied and having tea making facility.Bed was very comfortable and we slept well.good breakfast in the morning.Thank you.We hope to stay again when we are visiting Hythe.
We love the peace and serenity of the Hythe. The location was perfect for us to catch our EuroTunnel trip the next day. Bonus! We were able to squeeze in 9 holes at the pretty golf course adjacent to the hotel.
Perfect location for Le Shuttle. Walked into Hythe which was a lovely town. We had bikes on the back of the car and were able to store these safely overnight. It was so much nicer than a stay in a hotel.
The facility is right on the beach, and close to downtown, which is a pleasant collection of small shops. Staff was very helpful. The town is worthy h a visit. I’ll include this hotel on my next visit.
