Everything! I can’t think of anything I would change or improve on. The small touches made it exceptional.

A very relaxed can do attitude made our 1 night stay very enjoyable. The yacht inn really was dog friendly which is rare and something we value very highly. The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. We got an excellent nights sleep despite the mayday celebration of sunrise on the front which was quite atmospheric. We also had some preparation to do in the morning for an important presentation and there was no question about letting us delay checkout a little. The full Cornish breakfast was also fabulous and once again extremely relaxed. Its so good not to have loads of unknown rules that you are scared of breaking so common in the bigger hotels.
Set in Penzance, Holbein House is a historic bed and breakfast that offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a tennis court.

Glad we got tickets for the Minack Theatre and explored the Gobal Telecommunications Museum, took the Coaster bus several tiimes, including to Land's End and walked the Coastal path to Sennen. Enjoyed the Penlee art gallery, especially in the midst of reading "Summer in February." Enjoyed a meal at the oldest pub, and at the Longboat Inn. The staff at the Info Centre were the best - gave us so many tips and set us on the right buses.

i like walking on the promenade, along to Newlyn, took the Mounts Bay coast path to Marazion, took the bus to Trengwainton gardens- lovely to see the magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias - interesting walks round the gardens and a lovely cafe with friendly staff and good food.
Visited Trewidden gardens by bus and also took the train to St. Ives- a lovely scenic run along the coast.
Penzance town has a nice selection of shops and it is worth exploring the back streets and the area round Chapel street. On previous visits have been to the Morrab gardens and other parks. Penzance is easy to walk round, has a good bus service and the tourist information staff are very knowledgable and helpful.

Went in the end of February, it was a quiet time with everything closing by 10pm, and last buses leaving early, but it's just as lovely if not more so as any other time of the year could be. Even for hiking, if you get ready for the wind, the rain, the fog, the mud and the cold.

We came in February so not very busy. Many places to walk around, lovely garden in the center of town. Great beach, St Michael's Mount very close by. St Ives also not far away. Great place as a bae to see Cornwall.
Must say that the hotel location was convenient.
It was a 15 -20 mins walk to Penzance station and 5 mins to the promenade.
Liz was very sweet and had offered us rooms as soon as they were ready even before the checkin time.
She also did accommodate our request to store the birthday cake and allow us to use the breakfast room for the birthday cake cutting :)
She was kind enough to guideand explain us about all the nearby options to eat and for places to visit
Breakfast was good and filling
Overall lovely stay for the price paid !!!
Booked an overnight stay as a result of having to alter our travel plans due to the rail strike.
Arrived late and tired after a 10 hour coach ride to be met by a cheery, friendly barman who checked us in. After a welcome drink and a hot bath we slept well in a clean, comfortable room.
Breakfast next morning was very good and served by friendly staff. Reception staff were lovely and helpful too..
The hotel is so interesting to look around, it's history is fascinating. Good location for exploring Penzance.
This place is amazing! Every space is beautiful, cozy with a very special energy, the room is very nice decorated, super clean and you have a delicious breakfast included. The location is perfect! Close to the center, the beach and very close to places like st Ives and Lands End.
Ally and Mike were very kind and friendly from our arrival, make you feel like home. We are definitely coming back soon!
The best place we have stayed in Penzance and in Cornwall. Highly highly recommended!
Cozy, comfortable and well located to enjoy Newlyn and the surroundings. Very easy communication with Adele, who was a warm and welcoming host. Convenient for the local buses, and walkable to both Mousehole and Penzance. Only noise was from the seagulls, which added to the seaside atmosphere! Well equipped for our 4 day stay. Would recommend.
Beautifully presented, modern and clean. Bed very comfortable with pristine 4 star hotel like bedding, spare blankets and towels available. Fantastic appliances in kitchenette all you need for self catering. Great location in centre of Penzance with access to train if needed and lovely St.Ives beaches only a 20-30 min drive away!
It is a cosy place to stay close to the Penzance Railway Station. Shopping is convenient because there are quite a lot of supermarkets, groceries, bars, and shops nearby. We were offered Cornwall brand biscuits and chocolates, which were tasty. The sofa bed was a bonus, in addition to the 2 beds upstairs.
The Queens Hotel is a beautiful and historic building. The staff are excellent and the waiting staff in the restaurant were really friendly and obliging. Super sea front view room with a very comfortable bed. Two comfortable chairs and table with huge t.v screen. Very tasty breakfast, freshly cooked.
The staff all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.
The full English breakfast is excellent.
The pub is busy and welcoming. The value for your money is the best in Penzance, and the bus service is literally right outside the door. What more is there to say?
Having the parking lot behind the hotel was great. The breakfast staff provide quick service. The room was large, pretty, and comfortable and we had an ocean view. Checkin was easy and the guys were helpful and pleasant.
The best breakfasts I have ever had with plenty of choice as well. Location was fantastic, just a short walk to the seafront and the town but still easy to drive out of Penzance in a car. Richard and Sarah were great hosts.
Wonderful staff, amazing view and completely new renovated rooms. The Ship Inn and the town are both absolutely lovely places to stay - and less hectic than the main "downtown" part of Penzance. Highly recommend this Inn.
The hotel was beautiful, the staff were very nice and breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed my room and bathroom with sea views, a bath robe and a bath tube. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cosy cottage perfect for a winter trip to Cornwall, snug lounge with wood burner and comfy furniture. Easy access to St Ives (via beautiful coastal road) Penzance and Newlyn.
Nice cozy hotel and good location between Penzance and Newlyn, right on the coast. Friendly team. We only stayed one night and did not use the restaurant/bar.
It has parking included on the grounds of the hotel, which was handy. The location is correct, in between Penzance and Marazion. Not much to add, sorry.
