Most shocking experience of any holiday when we were unable to access accommodation we paid for through Booking.com. Don’t use Booking.com. They did not help us and we had to find and pay for alternative accommodation.

Stirling is a lovely area.
Stirling is a lovely area. The castle is really interesting but there is a lot of walking on cobbles. We are getting on a bit so found it a bit uphill and down dale but well worth a visit. 20 minutes drive from Stirling are The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel. The Kelpies are amazing and if you book a tour they take you inside, a must for any engineer. Falkirk Wheel is more interesting watching from outside but is an absolute master in engineering. Stirling town centre had a lovely shopping Mal we just found it busy and difficult to park.

Stirling is my home town, but I have lived in the Highlands for many years now and always enjoy returning. I cannot see it through the eyes of a stranger, but I am proud of what it has to offer. You are literally walking through history on the streets of the upper town below the castle. Climb the Wallace monument and enjoy views from Edinburgh in the east to Argyll in the west. Play golf on one of the finest courses in Scotland with lovely views over the Carse. I could go on. Stirling is a must-see for visitors to Scotland.

Stirling is a good base to see Scotland.
Stirling is a good base to see Scotland. We travelled to St Andrews, Edinburgh and Glasgow on public transport from here.
Stirling has good night life. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. People are friendly. We saw the Wallace Monument. Visited the museum.
Castlecroft has an excellent location with a pleasant walk into the city centre and easy access to the castle. It is close to the main routes into Stirling and easy to find.
Laura is a really charming and helpful host. She serves a terrific breakfast with good choice. Her recommendations for places to eat were appreciated.
We had our own small patio outside- a lovely feature
Parking at the B&B is straightforward and really useful.
Soundproofing between rooms was excellent- it was very quiet.
A fantastic B and B with a superb host in Laura. Extremely comfortable, very clean and a brilliant location. The lounge was a beautiful added bonus with tea, coffee and treats always available. Breakfast was fab with home made bread. We didn't eat till evening after breakfast.
Nothing was too much trouble and Laura ensured we were happy from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We didn't want to leave. If you need somewhere to stay in Stirling you must come here.
The accommodation is located just outside Stirling (with excellent parking space for all guests) in a very tranquil area. Lovely garden outside with sitting area.
Spacious bathroom (compared to other B&B we stayed in Scotland) and much appreciated tea & coffee facilities (and hairdryer). We booked a triple room that was exactly as advertised.
15/20 minutes away from Midhope Castle and Hopetoun House (for Outlander fans) and just 30 minutes from Edinburgh airport.
It exceeded our expectation. The place looks nicer in person than in photos. Super nice place. Nicely furnished. Facilities all great… washing machine, dishwasher, oven etc. very comfortable apartment with nice heating temperature… it’s the best place we stayed in our vacation in the UK… near train station, supermarkets and Stirling castles…
On the positive side, the location of the hotel was great and the parking very convenient. The hotel is situated in the university campus so it is very green and pleasant. The room was of reasonable size and the bed was comfortable.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, both at reception and a the bar and breakfast area.
We loved everything about our stay at Meadowpark. Our family of 5 stayed in two rooms. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the attention to every detail was amazing. The complimentary cocktails, snacks and breakfast basket were an unexpected treat! It was definitely the best hotel we stayed in while in Scotland.
Was only a last minute booking for a night out in stirling, the room wasn't massive but it was spotless and was everything we needed.
The breakfast was not up to there standard but we were up a little later.
It's a great hotel as it's right in the centre of the town, it is a very old hotel which adds to its charm.
We booked 3 king deluxe rooms for a family celebration. The rooms were lovely . The hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is perfectly located for all amenities to Stirling and surrounding areas. This is our second stey and would highly recommend this hotel.
large comfortable room with a comfy bed. The breakfast was lovely, something to suit everyone and the restaurant was beautiful.
We were attending a show at the Macroberts art centre so the hotel was in an ideal location and also not far from Stirling city centre
couldn’t fault anything with the stay, the room was fantastic as was the food and the staff. would recommend and would definitely stay again. location is perfect for getting around as it’s a quiet area but a very short walk to the city centre/castle.
I was upgraded to a better room which was very nice . Location was good just out of the centre of Stirling on the way to the castle . I was going to have breakfast but my plans changed and had to leave the hotel earlier than originally thought.
I love this hotel. It is one of my favorite places to stay. It is always so comfortable and inviting. The staff is always excellent and the breakfasts are amazing. It is located in the heart of Stirling so you have easy access to everything!
This is an amazing place to stay - so quiet and peaceful, yet very convenient to Stirling Castle and other sites in the area. The hosts were lovely, breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We will definitely stay here again.
Breakfast was great, hotel and bar staff were very friendly, nice choice of beers in the hotel bar (especially for cask ale drinkers). Prices in the bar were competitive with other pubs / bars in the centre of Stirling
Fantastic place to stay, easy access to all areas of Stirling. Short stroll to Stirling castle and located within Stirling city centre. They kindly upgraded our room which was lovely
Hadn't stayed in a Marston's Inns place before and I must say it was fab, particularly for the money. Good location - ideal for Stirling itself and surrounding areas.
