Super friendly and helpful hosts. The location is quiet and peaceful with a good pool and nice surroundings. You can hire a bike for a good price. One of us unfortunately got sick whilst we were here and the host organized a doctor and extended our stay which made everything stress free and was appreciated. There are only 2 rooms available so it feels nice and private. We stayed for 5 nights and often had the place to ourselves.

Spectacular place in the middle of the nature. We had a pool villa that was amazing beautiful with a stunning view. Food was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We loved the grounds, and the pool was beautiful. The room was lovely, the bed was comfy and the staff was always very friendly. We loved the Koi at the front of the building. Fed them every day. The scenery from our deck was so beautiful 😍

Villa Uma Ayu - a curate's egg . .
Spectacular location, lush vegetation, view of Gunung Agung, some charming looking cottages, plenty of ponds with fish, some surrounding the cottages. . and a swimming pool. Staff smiling and helpful. The usual included breakfast plus sweet Balinese option. On the plus side, the owner wasn't stuffy about amending our stay dates, and communication was good. Definitely not wheelchair accessible, no AC (not an issue for us).

Sidemen is still not too touristic and does feel off the...
Sidemen is still not too touristic and does feel off the beaten track. There is a lot of development happening, but locals still see people as people. It is walkable in 30-ish minutes. There is plenty of restaurants, tracks and things to do while being there. Would definitely recommend! Easy to get to and 1 hr away from the beach. Very calm and quiet.

my favorite place where Mt Angun, water rafting, and snorgeling in Blue Lagoon, quadbike thu the river and local area. Going to the Sideman silver smith and make or buy you jewelery eating in and aroud was made easy with many local restaurants. getting aroud was made very easy by renting a scooter very cheap and much quicker then a carVerbeek - 10Scored 10

Great authentic area to visit in Bali, the rice terraces are spectacular and also there are some nice views around if you go by scooter. Good area for tourist needs, nice warungs and restaurants ( i recommend Samanvaya) in the area, scooter rental and stores. Pretty close to many waterfalls, views and other atttractions like Penglipuran Village. The main streets get pretty busy sometimes and some b roads are in a really bad shape, but with a scooter you can overcome everything and the spectacular nature makes you forget any inconvenience.

The rooms are very nice and neat, you can order delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner from a menu for an affordable price, and can eat it at the table on your own balcony. They will also happily arrange any kind of tour or transport you would like. Wayan is a lovely woman, who is very welcoming and friendly. She treats you like family and always has a smile on her face. I thank her for the lovely time I had and I recommend this to everyone!
