A simple good size comfortable room with a very nice en-suite shower room and loo There was a little terrace and lovely views of the large garden. The pool was a good size; from memory maybe 20 metres, and plenty of sun loungers, table and chairs. Also, plenty of parking space. Breakfast was plentiful and, great to have gluten free cereal - thank you Ana!

Nerea and Nines are just fabulous, they looked after us really well. The breakfast we thought was excellent. The house and room are charming and having the use of the kitchen is a real bonus. We found parking easily in the street outside.

The hotel description fit all my criteria. It had parking outside, a tapas bar/cafe and a restaurant. Located on the N.110 road 2.5km south west of town and about 40km from Plasencia, it doesn’t, as with most main road hotels in Spain, have a specific address (this one is Crt. Nacional 110-Hotel-Km 368 BJ) so Google Maps was needed to pinpoint its location.
My room (at the rear of the hotel) and bathroom weren’t overly large but totally adequate; but don’t you just hate it when the shower is in the centre of the bath pointing into the bathroom rather than at the end of the bath? Why do they do that? It’s totally illogical. And when the wall fitting which holds the shower head is loose, twists round and won’t point downwards it makes it impossible to stand underneath it. ‘Twas thus here.
Because I had to reschedule my route for two days down the line (don’t ask !!!) I was late for dinner. It was served in the rather sparce and dull bar but boy, it was good !! I had some lovely meals during my two week wander around mid-west Spain but this was so different and so utterly delicious, I don’t think anything else topped it.
The receptionist was lovely, the barman and waiter rather dour and inattentive but that doesn’t detract for the fact that it was an enjoyable stay in an hotel and restaurant I would recommend if you’re ever in this area.

We were traveling to Jerte to visit Gorge of Hells and Pylons. The place is very close to the park, and provides a good opportunity to have a break and relax. It has a good pool and we enjoyed swimming after driving.

Beautiful valley with verdant cherry orchards and spectacular views. Nice local produce, very quiet and authentically Spanish area although some of the locals not geared up for tourists being the flip side. Some nice local walks but you definitely need a car to make the most of the area.
We had a lovely time at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect. The garden was very relaxing with a beautiful pool as well. Muchas Gracias Lisa y Vinny.
