Loved the view from our room in the tower, and the beds were so comfortable I haven’t slept that good in awhile. Also had a very clean workout room with a good amount of equipment.

The TV remote control had a problem. The staff corrected it immediately.
Due to sub-zero temperature, and our late arrival, parking spaces were full. Again the staff helped us to find a space to park.

Lots of options clustered in canal park so it's walkable, rich history and Baytown culture. Sun worshipers and leafers beware, the low elevation and Lakeshore means more overcast days and later peak colors than the surrounding areas. Plan accordingly.

I would not visit Duluth again.
I would not visit Duluth again. Although interesting sites available to see. I found Duluth to be congested with traffic. The streets dont make sense. Hard to get to the tourist stops. The city just didn't make any sense how u get into Duluth at the start.

Duluth is a wonderful place to visit.
Duluth is a wonderful place to visit. They have things to do for families, friends, short or long visits. Must visit Canal Park, Lift Bridge, Enger Tower, Miller Mall and Rose Garden. Lots of restaurants, Fitzer, Grandma's and Perkins too. Talking walks along the shore, skipping rocks or just enjoying the fresh air will help you sleep better. The kids will love the water, trains and a visit to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls.

We enjoyed Canal Park , Glensheen, and eating at Clyde's Iron Works and Grandma's. We drove along the North Shore to Gooseberry Falls and ate at Betty's Pies. Would recommend all of these, but not when the Canadian fire smoke is so dense you can hardly see the lake! Getting around was easy but don't follow Mapquest directions!
The hotel is a renovated old warehouse. This turn on the century all concrete structure is really cool and very quiet. I'm sure the uniqueness of the building made room design a challenge. Our suite had a kitchen, couch and bedroom. The TV in the living are was on the wall 90 degrees from the couch, ad the couch was 1 foot from that wall. The same in the bedroom. Good thing we had things planned in Duluth and didn't watch TV. We had it on for morning news, that was about it. The breakfast is incredible.
Appreciated the 24-hour a day market/pantry at the Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Duluth Waterfront -- it was an unexpected treat to be able to grab snacks in the middle of the night. Also appreciated how close it is to Canal Park, but far enough way where it didn't feel so touristy. The view I had from room 311 overlooking the harbor, lift bridge, and Duluth's hillside was exactly what I needed to see to feel refreshed after a day of traveling.
We booked the place for the price and with that you have to be ready to accept the fate that it will be less then perfect.
The day counter "supervisor" was great
The night guy was a bit off but wasn't an issue
The hotel had aVery clean pool area , and when something came up the staff was very understanding of situations and was relatable
Will book again!
This was probably the cleanest and quietest hotels we have ever stayed in, and extremely convenient to everything at Canal Park. Breakfast was fine as well. Parking was convenient and available in front of the hotel, which was a plus with Canal Park as parking comes at a premium. We would definitely stay here again.
location was perfect. Walked to canal park which was our main reason for going. I also liked that we had a good view of part of the lake where we stayed. The hotel actually offered some visitors a perfect lake of the view if they were willing to pay more.
It was a very nice hotel and room. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was excellent. My son loved the pool and it was very pet friendly. My dog was being loud and the staff very nicely let me know it was an issue and I appreciated that.
I loved the location and the restaurant had good food. Beautiful view and the hot tub was great. Outdoor area was very cool and was a short walk to the DECC and canal park. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Close to hospital…We priced out other hotels in the area there were some serious price gouging going on in Duluth Minnesota almost $300 for a room it was terrible, the Days Inn what is the least expensive.
We arrived at 11am and were allowed an early check in. Good location, quiet area, good breakfast.
Close to restaurants and shopping mall.
10 minute drive to downtown.
Nice location on Lake Superior shore. Room was clean and comfort. We traveled with our friends to explore Lake Superior shore and stayed in this hotel for one night.
Nice hotel. Room clean, quiet, great view with a nice balcony. Morning breakfast was more than adequate. We would love to return the next time we are in Duluth.
