Our host was thoughtful, responsive and very nice. The 4th floor apartment is reached by elevator, is secure, modern and beautifully decorated. A wonderful balcony provides views of the mountains and a peek of the lake. We walked to the old town and waterfront in less than 10 minutes, passing a great grocery store on the way. Parking is right in front of the building.

Our stay at the Stresa Residence was simply, magical! We attended a wedding in Stresa and opted for a property rental rather than a hotel. We are SO glad we did. We had the best time ever. The property was in such an amazing location- central to everything. There was a grocery store 2 minutes up the road. We were able to get to the water in just a few minutes, too. The balcony was such a plus. It was so amazing to sit on the balcony, enjoy a glass of wine, and have such great views of everyone strolling through the shops and streets below. The host, Giuliano was helpful and so kind. He helped us with busing information since we had a hard time communicating in Italian. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious. It was evident that the property owners have pride in their property. HUGE bathroom, closet and the "Murphy Bed" was so comfortable! We liked being able to put the bed up to have more space during the day. The little kitchen was perfect for cooling meals, too! We hope to be back one day!

The staff and comunication was swift and informative. The beds were comfortable and there were two bathrooms which is always a plus. The heating and washing macgine worked good. There are coffee pods in the kitchen and iron in the storage room. The couch and bench in the living room are quite comfortable. There are power sockets everywhere and a huge balcony with table and chairs and great view.
