Aratahi Cottages - West Wing was absolutely amazing, definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed. The villa was tastefully decorated at a very high standard and spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfortable, and the rooms were spacious, bright and airy. Sitting on the balcony looking over the manicured gardens watching the horses in the paddock was an added bonus that provided a superb country living experience. Love this place and would recommend to anyone who prefers stylish and luxury accommodation. We hope we have the opportunity to come back again.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay and we will definitely be back. So relaxing to be away from everything but also close enough to town to go do some sightseeing. I loved the decor and the bathroom as well.

It was very warm, and all the beds had electric blankets. The retro kitchen was well stocked. The best part of our stay was Lulu the 14 year old cat who stole our hearts. She slept on a couch in the garage (well she was supposed to sleep there but actually slept in the house with us). She was just gorgeous

There were numerous little touches that far exceeded my expectations. Things like puzzles and books and movies in case weather proved inclement. Things like a couple of sticking plasters, disposable razor, sanitary pads in case of ‘emergencies’. And the ‘kitchen’ had such things as a grater, coffee plunger, fly spray etc - things that you don’t expect to need but which all are so very welcome when you go to put your hand on them.

The unit is warm, very comfortable and has everything you need except a microwave, but we had access to the microwave in the host's kitchen, which was an added bonus.
