Clean, comfortable and warm facilities. Plenty of room in kitchen area and around the table for self catering. Situated in a lovely quiet location with nice walks locally in woods and along the estruary and 10 min drive for Coed y Brenin trail centre. Had garden space with drying line and seats. as Rich for hose to wash bikes and access to secure storage. the combination of the above plus a comfy sofa and TV with netflix made it excellent value for the money on sunny or wet days.
The hostel is situated in a very interesting building. Despite it's complicated layout everything was easy to find due to the signposts visible everywhere. The self-catering kitchen and dining areas were clean and well equipped. I also liked the bar and the lounge.
Absolutely blown away! Checked in at 7pm and the staff were really friendly. Food available until 8pm and a bar until 10pm. Room was clean, warm, comfortable and had everything we needed for our 1 night stay before going up Yr Wyddfa. Breakfast was excellent and we used the self catering kitchen to fill our flasks before departing. Showers were hot and clean.
Caravan nicely furnished and clean. Location was beautiful and park very well maintained, although more drainage is needed to avoid flooding! Good choice of DVDs and TV channels for cosy nights in. Kitchen well equipped with everything you'd need for a self catering break. Powerful shower. Very short walk to Talybont beach which was stunning.
A great place to stay at the foot of Snowdon. I was self catering the facilities had everything that was needed the kitchen is full equiped. The staff are helpful with walk routes etc
The property was clean and spacious and the kitchen was the best-equipped I've ever seen in a self-catering property! We'd brought some stuff from home (expecting the usual) but didn't need it. Gorgeous surroundings - went on a wonderful walk with stunning views all round. Had a very prompt response to our one query.
Was clean and had everything needed for the stay. Comfortable beds, warm shower, kitchen with everything for self catering.
Set in a beautiful valley near to Porthmadog the site is very well kept and quiet. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are friendly and helpful. My 2 person pod accommodation was comfortable and clean with a lovely veranda area to sit out and parking immediately adjacent. A compact kitchen has all the basics you need for self catering and the shower, although small, has good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The area is one of immense natural beauty with plenty to see and do.
Stayed in a studio apartment, which was fine for one person, but if two people, would be ok fr one night, but a little bit cramped if longer. There is a very basic kitchen area, so limited self catering is available, but didn't use. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, and a good breakfast provided. Limited car parking available, but if the car park is full, street parking outside on a quiet street is available. The hotel is well located in the centre of Criccieth, but just off the main street and peaceful.
Ideal location for hiking Snowdon, multiple bus connections to different parts of Wales. Very comfortable bank beds, dry room is a must and it was available to all who stay there. Restaurant and self-catering kitchen are great options to choose from and can complement each other. Self catering kitchen was equipped very well (kitchen tools, pots, pans, microwave oven, gas oven)
