Huge room with very well equipped kitchenette including large fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Handy for us as we were travelling for a few weeks to different locations and had food and drinks with us. Very clean room with table and chairs and balcony with chairs…fabulous view across to the estuary/bay. Very comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom with a huge walk in shower. Our room was a deluxe double with balcony. Plenty of parking either underneath each of the three blocks of accommodations or in the large car park within the grounds. Lovely pool area with a beach in front.. They have regular weekly food trucks and live music. Unfortunately, we didn’t experience this as we were out that particular day during our visit. Set in a lovely, peaceful residential area and a 15-20 minute stroll into town. Southport is a beautiful place to stay with plenty of shops and restaurants whilst retaining a small town feel. There are many parts to the area that have been used in many films and tv shows and the local tourist office has a museum with local history and memorabilia and artefacts from the films, in particular from Safe Haven which is one of the more well known in this area.
