Everywhere you look is lush nature, hummingbirds, eagles and butterflies and there's even goggles and a book to watch birds from the pousada. Breakfast was amazing, lots and lots of choices: fruit salad, eggs, pão de queijo, two types of homemade cakes and more, all with those gorgeous views and the sounds of nature. You can easily park your car next to your room. Breakfast is very good, you can ask for scrambled eggs in addition to other available options. Dona Mariza makes sure her guests feel taken care of. We loved sitting in front of our room, looking at the garden and the mountains.

With only a few bungalows it's very exclusive and there was a fantastic novelty to having breakfast in a tropical paradise with a Doors vinyl playing in the background! The location is great and within walking distance of numerous food and drink options for the evenings. Also special mention to the host Guilherme who went out of his way to help us with everything and speaks fantastic English (a rarity in Serra do Cipó).

The balcony in my room with hammock was awesome, really enjoyed admiring the great views from there. The vegan breakfast is amazing, everything is homemade and there is a lot of choice. The gardens are beautiful - lots of different kinds of plants and decorations. The pousada has a really relaxed vibe too, so it's a great place to relax. I highly recommend it.
