The hotel was fantastic and we had a beautiful room, which was very spacious. Decor was lovely. My wife and I had the afternoon tea which was excellent and no shortage of food. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was also great with a fantastic selection to choose from. Dinner was great. The turkey dinner is highly recommended. We used the spa also which was nice and relaxing. We got a great deal so overall great stay.

Everything. Massive thanks to all staff on reception. We got a lovely upgrade to resort king/twin. We also had cupcakes in room when we got back. Bed super comfy, room was gorgeous. The lobby and bars were beautifully decorated for Christmas. We used spa early in morning. It was super quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious.

Not far outside the town of Newcastle. Plenty parking space. Good location for climbing the Mourne Mountains, or walking in Tollymore Forest Park. Self-service continental breakfast, with very good choice of cereals, breads, fresh fruit, hot drinks, etc. Free welcome drink in a relaxing snug.

Cherryhill was compact but spacious, clean and cosy, with all you needed for a relaxing break in a wonderful location. Also, being able to take out two dogs with us was an added bonus that made our stay even more special. The hosts were friendly and helpful in every way, even kindly posting a phone charger back to us that we left behind. Old-fashioned value for money and a friendly welcome await at Cherryhill.
