My stay in Hydra was amazing! The room with its beautiful patio had a breathtaking view. Nina, the host, was incredibly helpful. The room was cozy and well-appointed, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was fantastic. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat!

Excellent location, great staff and the owners of the Porta Del Mare. We were also impressed that the owners tried to find us a doctor during the night when the local hospital showed complete unwillingness. Finally, a local doctor visited us and assisted. Thans to the owners and the gentle doctor (she did not say her name).

The location was fantastic. Close to the Port and close to all the restaurants. We were especially grateful to the staff at reception. They recommended and booked all of our restaurants for the week. They supplied towels for the beach and booked our day beds. We could not have asked for more informative helpful staff.

As a guest I had the feeling that I am staying at the owner's home and not in a hotel and that gives a great feeling. The owner is very friendly, polite and provided a lot of information about Hydra. The hotel location is great- short walk from the port. The room is spacious, with large balcony, very clean and well equipped. The breakfast is good. Very recommanded!

The room was so cosy and spacious, with a relaxing decoration. Light architecture was exceptional. Bathroom was large and had all sorts of amenities as well. Kitchenette facilities were great, with Nespresso machine and capsules, teabags, bottled water provided daily. Very close to city centre. We loved his useful local suggestions and willingness for us to enjoy his historic family home. The shady, nicely planted garden is worth spending time relaxing in. Close to everything, yet peaceful. Can't fault this as a vacation stay in anyway! Snorkel and beach towel kits a big plus. Comfy bed, lovely toiletries and free bottled water and other breakfast essentials. I enquired about places for a nice dinner once I decided he offered to book for me, best table, best view for my birthday. The room and facilities were fantastic, the outdoor garden spa was refreshing and private. Condiments in the room were plentiful- bread, juice, snack bars, coffee milk and replaced as needed….amazing place. Close to promenade frontage-130mts. The most popular restaurants, ouzeri and the bars are at the same road. But you can not hear any noise from the room. The terrace is very good for relaxing and having a cup of coffee and having your own breakfast in the morning. It is not written in the descriptions but there is a kettle, cups, glass, plate etc. for two. Very charming historical feel that was quite special. Breakfast but more a brunch was exceptional with capital E. Menu was so extensive but changed specials daily and you could order whatever you wanted and possible to eat outside on comfortable terrace. This outdoor terrace is exclusive for hotel guests and that is important to know as has really comfy white sofas to lounge.
