Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre.

First of all, this is NOT a hotel. Its a Haveli, that has been converted into a hotel. The rooms were fabulous, probably the biggest room in which I have ever stayed. We had booked the entry-level rooms, but due to off-season times, they upgraded our rooms for FREE! It was such a generous gesture on their part! I loved the room, which had a big hall with a Dining Table, then a four-posted bed, and another area with a Sofa set and Television. The bathroom was very expansive as well with a hanging rod closet and shower area with a big bathtub. They enquired us before our arrival on when we will be reaching the place, and made sure our arrival was very good. Gave us a welcome drink in the hot weather, had our rooms already ready for us to enter. At every touch-point, we were amazed with the hospitality and kindness we received. We tried out different dishes in the almost 24x7 restaurant and probably some of the best tasting home-made dishes we ever had! I never had Bhindi this good before! The swimming pool was great, so was the SPA. We opted for the Samode Signature massage and it was great! We went there for 4 days and 3 nights. Spent one entire day outside the Haveli, visiting different places in Jaipur and shopping and eating. One day we spent in the resort - After breakfast, relaxed a bit in the room then went for SPA. After that relaxed again and had lunch there and spent a good time in the pool with the family, and finished it with a nice dinner outside. Each member of the staff made sure our experience was great and they were really nice to us! I would specifically point out to Prateek, Santoshi at the reception and Surajdev (I don't recall the name properly right now) in the restaurant who had prepared Raan-e-Musallam one night before at our request, a dish that was amazing and too delectable! The stay might be a little expensive for the odd tourist, but we went there with this in mind and it exceeded our expectation at every point!

The décor has been handpicked by the royal family, be it the rooms, recreational spaces, the lavish Sabha Niwas conference room; or the aesthetics at the library-themed cocktail lounge - 1835, housing prized malts, conversations, and 200-year-old books for company. The Maharaja was India’s first ambassador to Spain, and this is celebrated at La Mesa and La Terraza, the Palace’s Spanish-themed multi-cuisine restaurant and al-fresco space.

For us the location was great. It was midway between the old bazaar area of Jaipur and the more affluent south side of the city and we walked nearly everywhere. The breakfasts weren’t included with our rate but were made fresh to order and were always good. We didn’t eat dinner in the accommodation. Doongri House is set slightly back from the street and is up on the 3rd floor so we had a beautiful oasis in the heart of Jaipur, with plenty of space to relax on the terrace. It was hot when we visited so the air con was essential.

Very nice & comfortable stay. Personal touch made all the difference. Very neat & clean. Spacious & tastefully furnished rooms. Beautiful concept of having so many books/CDs available. So many curios all around. The breakfast very nice, freshly made & served with love. The balconies & open air spaces including the rooftop seating area were so beautiful to spend time in a relaxed manner while having a panoramic view of the surroundings. Location is also very good - several attractions nearby.

LOVED this little hotel in Jaipur. We had booked somewhere else, but it was not good so moved to Sum spaces last minute. It is even more lovely than the pictures. Comfortable, beautifully designed, lovely details, lovely staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and very clean. The area is really nice and calm so a good place to relax if you are exploring the city. I would definitely stay again and will recommend to others! It’s Perfect

The restaurant Monarch was very nice and staff are very helpful, in particular Kajal and Saif stood out in service and went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely dining experience for breakfast and dinner. Food was clean and safe for travellers. Spa was basic, no welcome drink and cold in the room however they did put heating on when requested and the massage itself was one of the best I’ve ever had, everyone in our party was very happy with the persons conducting the treatments.

We had a short but memorable stay at the Pearl Palace Heritage hotel. The rooms were beautifully furnished and so spacious, equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and we felt very much at home there. Their was a good choice of breakfast dishes and we appreciated the fresh fruit. All the staff we met were extremely helpful and kind. We hope to return to this exclusive but homely hotel soon. Thank you for making our stay so special.

My stay at Bunky was wonderful. The dorms are spacious, clean and well-lit. The bunk beds have a lot of head space and I felt very safe and comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly, and went out of their way to help me. I enjoyed the morning breakfast and the cafe was a lovely place to just chill and relax. All in all, I had a great time at Bunky and would highly recommend it for budget-conscious travellers in Jaipur.
