Chiara met us at the property and even helped us with the parking of our car, made great food suggestions and was there for everything we needed. Contrary to most people preferences, this accommodation is located a 40 minute walk to the city center, which means there are almost no tourists and you really get to see how Italians live and behave. A small beach with black sand and rocky shore is located about 15 mins from the house, there are pastry shops, small boutiques and grocery stores located on your way there. City buses dont really exist {they ususally just dont arrive or are 20 minutes early} so stick to your feet.

The owner Salvatore is a very helpful man & he does everything to assist you. In fact because I had to fly out of Catania late, he let us do a late checkout at no expense. The location is only a couple of minutes away by walk from the Duomo. The apartment was equipped with all the needs & more. I will sure use this another time when I am in Catania.
