Our host, Antonella was so friendly and inviting. She gave us lots of useful information and some great restaurant recommendations. The hotel is new and beautifully furnished with great facilities. (slippers, mini bar, tea/coffee facilities etc.) We had our breakfast on the terrace with wonderful views. We were very impressed with our stay here. Highly recommend for a stay on Ravello.

We had a wonderful experience at Palazzo Avino. We enjoyed a quiet room with an alcove where we could sit and look out on a splendid view of the mountains and the sea. Breakfast was on an open terrace with excellent service and a wide variety of delicious breakfast offerings. The spa is not to be missed with a fantastic jacuzzi and a view of the sea below. The one stumble in our stay was not fully realizing the extent of the facilities and ,therefore, not taking full advantage of the exercise equipment and jacuzzi.This would have added a great deal to our comfort. Above all, the concierge,Antonio, is among the best concierges I have met in my travels throughout the continents. He accomplishes everything, as excellent concierges do, but he does it with a kindness, humbleness, and lightness of spirit which makes interaction a joyful experience. We would return just to have his assistance.

The gardens are amazing! A lot of private area, we didnt take a room with a private pool, but you should!! The breakfast is amazing and staff is so nice and helpful!! Also the view was insane!

We’ve stayed at multiple 5 star hotels where the service has been impeccable but somehow Caruso has managed to top all of them. The location, views, and architecture are all great but what stands out is the little things they do like the small gifts with notes. They really go above and beyond and I don’t see myself staying anywhere else next time I’m in Amalfi coast.

It's a clean recently renovated apartment. It has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Airco (with heating) units in all rooms. Sufficiently equipped kitchen. Big fridge, washing machine. Coffee machine. It has a nice view over the valley especially from the terrace outside. Comfortable beds, bed linnen, pillows, blankets. Iron. All in good order. The owner had some yoghurts, packaged croissants, jam, nutella, coffe pads, pasta, water and some other basic stuff ready for us to have a breakfast or cook. The owner is very responsive and helpful. You have to realize there are steep stairs equivalent to some 4 floors of a regular building, so be sure you're fit enough to carry luggage up the stairs - in practice no problem and good exercise. There is not much to do in Sambuco around the house - it's a quiet residential area with no restaurants or shops. We'd recommend staying here with a rental car (if you're comfortable driving on narrow roads) - then it's easy to get to Ravello, Amalfi and other towns on the coast. Or plan using taxi. Otherwise it is like 20 mins walk to the main road to catch a bus or 40mins walk to Ravello and much longer to Amalfi (we didn't try). For us staying there 4 days as a family with 2 kids and with a rental car - it was a great value for money and easy to discover Amalfi coast.
