Situated on its own extensive grounds with panoramic views of the bay in the distance, the Connemara Coast Hotel is the ideal place from which to enjoy the vibrant city of Galway or explore the magnificence of the surrounding countryside. I found Andrew to be a wonderful manager. He was polite, friendly & professional. I would strongly recommend he be promoted or at the very least given a substantial raise. 5 stars for the management. Now as for the premises...Gorgeous! I walked the path down to the water each morning and found it simply stunning! I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfasts as well. The kind young fellow of Indian decent was just brilliant! He brought my breakfast to me as I have trouble getting around sometimes. He went out of his way to bring me a cappuccino and poached eggs with toast and sausage with orange juice. Now at this point I must interject my thoughts regarding the food. I was beyond impressed. The muscles were fantastic! It is also important to note the porter named Conor was wonderful bringing my bags to my room for me. Saving the best for last the young men who worked in the pub made me feel right at home with friendly banter and quick with a smile. Conner and Rory were the very picture of Irish hospitality!

Guests can enjoy complimentary access to the Swan Leisure Club which includes an 18-metre swimming pool. Everything you need, better price and you get nice pools, steam sauna, lots of people to meet and they have and awesome pub and dining hall for breakfast was beautiful. Would love to see it with real copper plates behind the wood working. Nice rooms, large and clean , nice views from the 2nd floor., east, I think. The beds are typical hardish, nothing you can do, that's hotel mattresses I've come to expect across Europe. Lots of potential to be an amazing Christmas magic destination if they took advantage of this amazing property. It needs updating and more events for everyone.

Really nice hotel. Large bed and spacious room overlooking the ocean. Good selection for breakfast and alternative milks. Swimming pool was nice and not too busy. Had a massage which was conducted in one of the other hotel rooms which was a bit odd but still fine. Massage was fine but wouldn't overly recommend it. Location of the hotel is great - close to Galway city and about an hours drive from most hiking spots in Connemara.
Excellent location to have a relaxing time, not far from a Kylemore Abbey, boat cruise and Connemara national park. Very spacious bathroom and bedroom, comfortable bed. The host Cathy is very friendly and attentive. Good choice for breakfast.
The house is close to Oughterard and we found the area to be very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation itself is finished to a very high standard, it is very clean and surprisingly spacious. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking a good meal. Host Eileen was so nice; she included lovely touches such as providing treats, snacks, and breakfast. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a little bit of quiet luxury.
The hotel is in the centre of Clifden, there were plenty of parking spaces for easy access to the hotel. the Spa is free to residents, good to have a sauna and steam room to help with your aching muscles. The staff and facilities were first rate. The breakfast was buffet style allowing you to fill your plate with as much as you wanted to get you through the morning. overall well worth a stay.
Nice room with a nice view towards the mountain. Very comfortable. I liked that there are so many activities that can be done and are offered by the hotel. The breakfast and dinner was good as well, big portions. Good spa package -very relaxing.
The room was comfortable, spacious and had a great ocean view. The breakfast menu was impressive and the sauna was a great feature. The staff were very hospitable, especially Marion who was very helpful.
really lovely boutique style family run hotel in a great location. Bedroom was like an apartment with sitting area and two bedrooms. we used the sauna after swimming in the sea and had treatments in the spa. The staff were lovely…..Would recommend this hotel for a mini break.
Comfortable room, very clean and tidy. Facilities are great, with a good leisure space with swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, etc. Good for a family weekend travel. Hotel is right next to the see, so the views are great. Plenty of parking. Breakfast is good.
This is a very comfortable hotel, extremely clean and with very friendly staff. It is not a luxury hotel but it is tasteful, spacious and ideal for relaxation especially during Covid times. Breakfast is good and location breathtaking. Would recommend it.
Staff are friendly, reasonable breakfast, nice dinner area and good food. Outdoor hot tub and the room is very spacious. Spacious hotel with different areas to relax.
