Set in Kandy, 800 metres from Bogambara Stadium, swp eco lodge offers air-conditioned rooms and a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi. The hotel has newspapers and a fax machine and photocopier that guests can use. The place is really beautiful and the views are superb, looking to the lake. Room is very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom is great. The breakfast is also very good, you have two options: continental and Sri Lankan (my husband tried the second one and was super satisfied, you can choose spicy or not). Is super well located, 10min walk from the Sacred Tooth Temple, actually you can see the temple from the room as it's on the other side of the lake. The only thing that I would mention is that is not very accessible by car, you have to walk 100m up, totally doable, I was 6m pregnant and was ok, but maybe not suited for everyone. We didn't ask but could be that there is the possibility to go by TukTuk.

Guests can relax in the garden at the property. Mahesh and his family were wonderful. I think I had the best cup of tea I have ever had. The room was comfy and clean. We loved our stay, we could not recommend it more.

Located in Kandy, Green View Holiday Resort is 5.6 km from Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and 10 km from Kandy Musuem. The Tooth Temple in Kandy is also 12 km away. Bandaranaike International Airport is 127 km from the resort. This is our 3rd stay at the Green View Holiday Resort, and it has never disappointed us! The hosts are as friendly and accommodating as ever, and we always felt like "home". Great to see that they have maintained the quality in the same way.

At an extra charge, the hotel offers massage in the Ayurveda spa located in the hotel garden or in a massage parlour inside the hotel.The hotel organizes excursions and transfer from the airport. The hotel provides accommodation for the drivers. The hidden and wonderful location was surprising. A peaceful accommodation to relax with your family. Warm welcome from the staff, always helpful and looking at all details. It deserves a longer stay to enjoy the surrounding nature and the amazing jacuzzi. We’ve been in Feb 2023, there is nothing to worry about for tourism, a safe country and lovely people.

À la carte and Full English/Irish breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and pancakes are available daily at the apartment. Guests can relax in the in-house bar, while packed lunches are also available. Property is a private self contained apartment (with kitchen) in a quiet neighbourhood in the hills near Kandy. The apartment was originally intended for the owners parents to visit (a Doctor) though it is now mostly rented out. Clean throughout (no bad odours), spacious and comfortable with a good breakfast. Owner is amazingly nice, considerate and went over and above to make us feel welcome; picked us up from town and took us to the sights the next day; checked that were OK getting back from dinner the next day. We were advised that Tuk Tuk price from central Kandy was about 350-500 LKR; and we were able to find something in that range evening on Christmas Eve. There is limited commerce/restaurants directly around the neighbourhood. Something to be aware of though it did not affect our satisfaction given the hosts abundant hospitality.
