From the administrators to the cleaners, the personnel is friendly. The pools were clean and in good condition. Everything about the lodging—cleanliness, furnishings, and view—was perfect. Although it is listed as having one bedroom, it actually has three bedrooms and can sleep up to six people.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the river views. On arrival at the villa, the cleaners had done a thorough job. Our host, Louis had gone the extra mile kitting out the unit with full Dstv, wi-fi and a UPS to run both, as well as lights all over the unit which were clearly marked. The outdoor lounge and additional outdoor dinning room table by the built in braai/barbeque were a big plus. We were even greeted with chocolates on our pillows and the kitchen was kitted with additional thoughtful items such as dishwashing pods and other cleaning items. Louis was also very helpful with giving us multiple options of various restaurants to visit in the surrounding area. We will definitely be back again.

An indoor play area is also available for guests at Villa Songo, Estuary Country Estate, INVERTER & RENOVATED. Location was great. Accommodation and facilities were superb and we felt relaxed and comfortable. Having wifi was perfect too. We had an issue with one of the loo handles and even though we didn't mind (there are 2 other bathrooms), Simone came around with someone who fixed the problem.
