The rooms were big and luxurious (nice bathroom with both a bad tub and beautiful shower). I read that the breakfast was good and indeed, this is truly the case. There is a Chinese and Western buffet, both very extended. Close to a metro station and the neighbourhood is very nice (not far from the French concession and surrounded by a lot of nice shops.

It was one of the first five star luxurious hotels in Shanghai, although a bit old, it never loses its charm. The room is clean and well maintained, services from staff were great. I enjoyed the old style sauna, which brought back a lot of memories. The hotel is centrally located in Shanghai, convinient to move around from the hotel. The architecture is magnificient, the garden is beautiful. Loved my stay!
