We absolutely loved Blue Maverick, it was an exceptional find. The property is at the top of a small hillock with the rainforest all around meaning you are in the canopy. Made from beautiful local wood you are immersed in the birds and wildlife, but raised up above anything unwelcome! Note. The property is difficult to find without the clear instructions from the owners and you most definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the final ascent to the property.

This cabin was super cute, comfortable and well-equipped! We loved our visit here and were treated like royalty from all the staff on the farm! There is lots of wildlife in the area and gorgeous flora and fauna! The owner Theresa, went above and beyond to help make our stay and our visits to the beach and the area super fun and comfortable! A highlight was visiting the AP agricultural bee rescue center which is just down the road!

Hard to find words to describe how incredible our stay was! The cabin is just as pictured, very comfortable and the outdoor top level kitchen was our absolute favorite place to relax, cook, watch the animal life in the jungle etc. You can see monkeys, sloths, exotic birds, tropical butterflies right from your kitchen! The wi-fi is very good for remote work, the kitchen is pristine and very well equipped, the place was squeaky clean and incredibly tranquil. Tree's farm is a piece of paradise, with plants and fruit trees out of this world! She created a jungle sanctuary for all sorts of animals, so if you love animals like we do, this is THE place for you. There are numerous dogs, cats, goats, chickens, turkeys etc. We absolutely loved having cats and dogs come visit us in the morning, and befriended a beautiful kitty, who hung out with us a lot of the times, we miss her very much! Tree is an amazing person, so welcoming and kind, meeting her and Wilmer was a highlight of our trip... we've never been this sad to leave a place ever before! Thank you, Tree, for making our vacation so very special <3 We hope to be back soon enough!

We enjoyed everything:) the kitchen is well equipped, the bed was very comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean. The location is superb as it's close to restaurants, within walking distance to the beach and yet a little off the main track. On top we had been offered fresh fruits as a welcome gift.

The are we booked was a spacious one side of the house. It was amazing to watch nature and cook breakfast over there. Marlena helped us out with everything we needed! :) She and her husband are lovely, the same as dogs. We felt safe and taken care of.

We loved being in the tropical nature. Managed to take a few photos of cool birds and a cute baby sloth.. The fabulous breakfast (upon request and extra charge) was plentiful and included our favorite French press coffee/juice, fresh breads from a local bakery, eggs, fruit and granola yogurt. We enjoyed it very much, however, after couple of days it became a bit repetitive... should have asked for more variety...like pancakes or omelettes. Maybe next time around.:) The owners were very accommodating and super friendly. It was a pleasurable stay at their property. Thank you, Tine & Rene!

Clean, spacious and located in a stunning rainforest. Our villa was right next to the pool and we were lucky to have an array of wildlife on our doorstep including a sloth! Ana was the perfect hostess and couldn’t be more helpful with making sure we were comfortable and had local recommendations. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this side of Costa Rica. The location is perfect, only a few minutes away from shops, restaurants and the beach, but still very quiet. There are two national parks close by, and one of the best beaches in Costa Rica, Playa Punta Uva. The garden surrounding the villas is beautiful; the pool has a good size for swimming and is well maintained. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and the villa is immaculate and very clean.ChristophFamily with young children
