It’s about a 15 minute walk to the village and restaurants. Helpful, pleasant staff. The rooms can get very hot but then it’s Cape Verde so is to be expected. Rooms have fans rather than aircon.

Bruno was great and also kindly allowed me to check out slightly later as I had a later flight. He also helped to arrange taxis to and from the airport. The pousada is a short walk from the centre of the town, but it's not far and being near the beach is amazing. There's some great views across to Fogo too!

The host provided many items (snorkels, yoga mats, weights, books, swimming floats). The local village is only 15mins walk which has many resteraunts serving fresh sea food at a reasonable price. The alluger to the centre of Praia costs only 150 cve. The relaxation area area with the hammocks was an area we really enjoyed! We met lots of nice guests during our stay who we enjoyed chatting to
