We thought the house looked cute on the photographs but it completely exceeded our expectations. Spacious, comfortable, located a short bus-ride (three stops?) from the more tourist-filled Cochem - just a perfect place to kick back and relax. There's a great baker nearby for those delicious German rolls and cakes (Café Fuhrmann) and a supermarket a few minutes' walk away. It was also great having access to a washing-machine for a mid-holiday laundry session! The host, Julia, was incredibly accommodating in letting us arrive early and was really friendly when she popped round to pick up the payment. It's clear she loves the house as much as anyone who stays there would. We were there at the time of the 'Plum Festival' so also table to enjoy dome live music and try out the local wines. Cochem is also really well-located for getting up and down the Mosel and on local transport - we did some great walks in the area.

We were two families there (4 person each family). The host were super friendly. The house is clean and modern furnished. The place is super comfortable, it is in the center and near the castle, so you don't need to use your car at all! The center is within walking distance. It's high recommendable.

Parking is available at the back of the hotel. Inside it looks very modern, but still with a romantic atmosphere. It was all very clean and I liked the toilet is separate from the bathroom. The shower was exceptional: large and very good water pressure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can absolutely recommend this hotel.
