There was a very good explanation of the facilities on arrival. The pool was open and there was a sauna for guest use. There is not a bar per se but an area where you can serve yourself drinks and pay later and coffee and tea available. The local village is down the hill where there are good German restaurants however if you are not very mobile then walking down hill is ok, but it is very steep on the return.

The apartment is ideally located for exploring the northern parts of Black Forest. In particular, the bus pass distributed by the accommodation is very handy to access to the national park areas. We really enjoyed the nice view of the mountains of Vosges from the spacious terrassee.
