Arturo was an attentive, friendly host who was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The property was tidy and clean and set in a peaceful, panoramic location with views over the city and river. Comfortable bedrooms and sitting room with all that is required for a relaxing visit. We made good use of the Nespresso machine in the kitchen! At the bottom of the hill there is a bar-restaurant serving delicious food and an Eroski supermarket both within 20mins walk. One of the most important features of our stay was that the property was pet friendly so we could have our dogs with us.

The breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant (half inside, half outside) and is fabulous. Rooms are really comfortable with top quality toiletries (we were upgraded to a junior suite which had Diptyque toiletries, very luxurious) - thank you!

Bathrooms are particularly nice, practical and the pressure of the shower was exceptional. We have stayed in the neighbouring NYX a couple of times previously and much prefer the Bilder in terms of decor and practicality. Staff were always friendly. We love this location which is why we tried Bilder Boutique. Since hotels in Bilbao are slightly expensive, this flat is really a good deal:) And it’s only 2 minute walk from the Santutxu station’s entrance and the apartment is equipped with an elevator, so the access is easy even for family with small children and strollers. You can easily reach Casco Viejo and Plaza Nueva by walk. Owners, Alfonso and Menchi, are really kind. They answered everything anytime.JunnosukeFamily with young children
