The views are amazing and the host was very quick in resolving some initial issues at the start of our stay. The welcome goodies of wine, fruit and snacks was a nice touch. The house is fully equipped with most things you might need for your stay, especially the kitchen. Bath and hand gel are also provided as well as dishwashing liquid, spices left from other guests and Tassimo coffee pods. There were plenty of nice, fluffy towels for two people so that we could change to fresh towels mid-week during our stay. Nice to have laundry facilities although we didn't use them. The location is convenient to the north airport and amidst working banana plantations. The rooftop provides views of amazing sunsets and breakfasts and a nice place to relax. There is even a wine chiller on the top floor to be able to enjoy a bottle without having to go to the kitchen level. There are wonderful local paths to walk, the beach at the bottom of the hill is nice for sunning (a bit dangerous for swimming) and watching surfers. We were also given suggestions of things to visit around the area, such as another safer beach to swim at.

The building is a 400 year old farmhouse that has a modern kitchen. The entire property is huge for 5 people with a massive swimming pool in a self contained garden. All in the middle of a banana plantation. Fresh bananas and Mangos were left for us. There is parking in your own private courtyard that has a lockable gate. The location was good as we had a hire car. There is no wifi but the 4g was really fast.

The house was a typical beatuful canarian house, very comfy and equipped with everything you need during holidays. The house was inside plantation, lush greenery around you. We ate sweet mangoes and made our fresh orange juice every day. There are a flock of wild canary birds, singing all day (the host is feeding them), falcons, flock of red goi fish in water tank. The plantation is just above Socorro beach: you can walk down to swim or just to admire the surfers from the cliff.

First off, Blanca is the best host. She is very friendly and welcoming, always there if you need her to help. She stepped in to pass the keys to our friend who was arriving, when we were all out for a hike. The location is also so beautiful, in front of a small church on a hill, with the views of the mountain for you to wake up to. I had the most beautiful time with my friends there - the house is very beautiful, and very large - fulfilling its potential of being a great community space, and also enough rooms where you can get the alone time you need. The house also has super fast WiFi, which is great! We had a lot of terrace hang outs and even a BBQ on an old Canarian BBQ machine! I'll always remember this house fondly.

The facilities and everything about the Villa was amazing and well presented. I would definitely recommend staying here as you will enjoy your stay. There’s plenty to do in the villa itself so you don’t even need to go out during the day. The host let us check in early and explained everything to the best of her knowledge.
